Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel's Favourite
After riding our motorcycles all day in 30+ celcius we tried to find a hotel room around the Brenner pass. It turned out to be a popular destination. After several attempts a hotel recetionist at Anett hotel in Vipiteno (which was fully booked) took pity on us and arranged for us to stay at Haus an Turm. We were met by owner Veronika and due to her service-mindessness, the lovely hotel with its roof top terass with views of the mountains we immediatly asked if we could stay an extra night. The hotel has a wine bar and restaurant, Vinzenz. The food was fantastic, We have travelled by motorcycle through Europe for years and stayed at many hotels and our stay at Haus an Turm is at the top of our list. A special thanks to Veronika for a lovely stay.

We had a lovely stay here. Family-run place. Friendly, helpful owners. Nice breakfast. Clean, spacious, comfortable room with a lovely balcony overlooking the mountains. If we come back to Vipiteno we will definitely be staying here again!

I stayed in this hotel last night with my family and I have to say we were very happy with everything. The room was clean and spacious with a big bed plus the breakfast (included) was really good (freshly made with a great selection). Also the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again if in the area and recommend it to everyone. .

The hotel is located in the old center very close to the Torre delle Dodici/Zwölferturm. Decent rooms, adequate breakfast buffet for a good price. Parking in the narrow street next to the entrance is somewhat difficult to find. The wine bar next door belongs to the same family, worth a visit.

The Hotel Garni Wipptalerhof ( http://www.vinzenz.it/index.html) is a lovely place to stay. The lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. We had a small balcony with view over the church and mountains. And a big and also clean bathroom. The location is very good, in the middle of the small town, next to the clock tower. Takes like 5-10 min to go to the Rosskopf ski lift station. Breakfast was great. Not to much to choose from but all good quality and as Swedes we were very happy to find whole grains and healthy, filling options. Do not go there and expect it to be luxurious 5 star hotel. It is not. But it is a very good place and absolutely super good value for your money. I would definitely recommend to everone going to Vipiteno/Sterzing. The daugther of the hotel owner has a restaurant/vinebar at the bottom floor in the same building called Vinzenz. Food is very good although portions kinda small. Go for several courses.
