My family and I spent one glorious week in Calamani Cove - and it was extremely relaxing. This property of Jetwing is smaller than the others but more luxurious. It does not have that many rooms so the number of guests is intimate, the staff is also not too big and everyone is so warm and friendly and always ready to help out with a big big smile! The Chef cooks divine meals and everyone in the restaurant caters to your taste, its very home-y. Shalini, the manager, was always on top of things making sure everyone has a good time! The beach itself is also very clean and pristine and its fun to hand out. I would strongly advice booking the suite - the views are mesmerizing. Very very kid friendly. If you loose sight of your speedy toddler, someone is most likely watching out for them. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably be back soon

Commencing from the first call to reserve the property with Ms. Nirodha and till departure with Maleen, the experience was fabulous. This is a 13 roomed property and just about the right size given the current situation with the COVID pandemic. You are guaranteed privacy whilst being looked after of your whims and fancies by Thilak and Chandana. We stayed in the 'Passion' Villa closer to the pool with easy access to the beach as well. Anyone who stays here must visit the Oruwella and the rocks pools. It's a shame what the locals have done to this environment littering all over with no regard to the nature and their or our own future. The kitchen is managed well by Exe Chef Thushara who is more than willing to get feedback and accommodate any customized requirements by the guests.

Overall the property was real good value for the money spend with Kudos to teh owner and the designer of the property over complimented by the small team that manage all service elements without any hesitation.

Keep it up and will definitely visit you again!

We went hearing great things about this hotel and the general appreciation we have for Jetwing Hotels. It’s a beautiful hotel located in this cozy private beach cove and the beauty of the views thanks to its location is something special. The food is great but hotel doesn’t have full board option. So a simple meal will cost approx. 6k to 7k. So best to have options to have meals outside the hotel if you think the above cost is bit too much. Also the service of the hotel is not up to the standards of other Jetwing top tier hotels. There is much room for improvement in service delivery areas.

We visited this property on the 14th and 15th of August to celebrate a birthday and it turned out to be one our best holidays yet.
The property is just breath taking, clean and well-kept. A lot of attention is paid to detail and every single area of the hotel is designed well. We were given a room upgrade to the sea view villa and was blown away at the layout of the rooms. It gives you a great deal of privacy with your own garden and rooftop terrace.
One of the best parts about our stay was the food. We loved every single meal we had there. Every single dish was curated beautifully with each element tasting absolutely delicious. Hats off to the chef for his wonderful work.
Last but definitely not the least, the staff was so friendly and so attentive to all our needs. They truly made this stay a memorable one. The staff went out of their way to make the birthday celebration a fantastic one decorating the room and setting up a sunset dining experience for us at the beach.
A special mention to Nirodha, Thilak, Chandana, the lifeguard on duty and the wonderful chef for making this one of our favourite holidays. We will definitely be visiting this hotel at least once a year.

A group of us travelled to Calamansi Cove last week, and had an excellent two-night stay. We were ten adults and eight children ranging from 10 to 1. The place is very well designed for families with small children. The setting is a beautifully maintained garden with villa type rooms, each with its own private garden, outdoor space, and some rooftop space. The food overall was excellent, with something different offered for each meal. However what I would really like to commend were the hotel staff, who made our stay exceptional. Sujith, the hotel lifeguard, made our trip so much easier. He was always attentive without being intrusive, very gentle with the kids, and thoroughly trustworthy. Our trip experience would have been very different without him always on guard. The two serving staff we encountered, Chandana and Thilak, were so friendly, and extremely accommodating and obliging. Also our reservation and check-in were managed excellently by Nirodha, who also took every effort to ensure that we had a great stay. Special mention must be made of Tommy the hotel dog (fully vaccinated), who was also a great companion for the kids. One small problem with our trip was that the sea was not swimmable during our stay. Apparently June is not a great time for the sea here. But overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend Calamansi Cove for groups with small children.

The hotel has villas in pods of three. Each villa I has a spacious and comfortable bedroom and bathroom leading to an outside sitting are and a courtyard.A flight of stairs led to an ope balcony.
Set in beautiful grounds within easy walk to the beach. The pool was clean andideal for families with young children
I stayed with my son and daughter and their families. Our pod of three villas was connected allowing the young ones to move from one villa to another without going outside.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and was always willing to oblige us with any requests.

I originally booked for two weeks, but the experience was so amazing that I extended my stay an extra week ! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hotel itself sits sandwiched between the beautiful waves of the Indian ocean ( with amazing sunsets ) and immaculate gardens oozing with character, beauty, colours and an array of amazing wildlife, all perfectly maintained by the endlessly smiling extremely hard working gardeners.

Off the beaten track, this hidden hotel is so peaceful and ideal for a relaxing holiday. The villas are extremely clean thanks to the hard work of Kalum, Malith and Kasum. Each villa has their own private garden and sitting area which is lovely.

Greeted by the wonderful Nirodha, who truly is a diamond she made our stay extra special. She helped with everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble . Her constant smile was a pleasure to see each day. Chandana, Thilak and Kosala provided first class service and their stories about this beautiful island and local traditions were better than any travel book on Sri lanka. Cheery chatty while extremely professional their customer service was impeccable.

When it comes to the food well what can I say? Every meal was truly delicious especially the homemade coconut ice-cream and passion fruit cheesecake! Staying for three weeks Chef Thushara (who is fabulous) changed the menu to suit our palates. Dishes were made incorporating our newly found love of Sri lankan spices and local vegetables.

Each meal was fragrant, creative and mouthwatering. There were empty shiny plates each night :) At the end of the meal we were always greeted by Thushara and his smile asking how our meal was . He takes such pride in his creations and rightly so. If for some crazy reason you choose not to stay here, at least go for dinner. You definitely wont be disappointed BUT You will wish you booked Calamansi Cove for the duration of your stay!

Yoga everyday on the beach with Saman was amazing .He is a real expert providing wonderful tailor made classes depending on your needs. Closing the day with the healing hands of Asela, who gives the best massages I have EVER had. Asela really does have a gift and he can ease muscular and nerve pain within the session.

This hotel provides the perfect getaway and I could have stayed another month. A huge thank you to Nirodha and the team. It was truly a pleasurable experience and surpassed all of my expectations. Sri lanka is a beautiful country, the people are so nice and I cannot wait to return.

A gorgeous place to stay for a few days at the end of our two week trip to Sri Lanka. Situated on a virtually private immaculately clean beach next to a fishing village it is very picturesque. With tranquil villa style rooms set in gardens with access to the lovely pool and the beach it was very relaxing. The staff are extremely helpful and meticulous in all that they do. We enjoyed the breakfasts with the delicious fruit (and curd that was ordered in specially for us) and had light lunches there too. The evening meals were good but we were also able to walk along the beach to another beautiful hotel called Sundara to ring the changes for one night. Highly recommend the massage by a talented local masseuse and the excellent yoga sessions by Saman. Well equipped rooms with lovely bathrooms, air conditioning and good wifi.

This is one of the best Jetwing properties where we got total privacy with clean calm beach and nature loving accommodation. Friendly Staff who always looks after us , starting from front office Nirodha to restaurant Chandana did an amazing job. We stayed only one day but hoping to go there soon again. I love it very much.

After an adventurous tour of Sri Lanka, we found this hotel through their Instagram account. We were looking for a private stay on the beach where we could spend some quiet time with the family.
We stayed in various hotels around the island with equally various experiences. Here at Calamansi Cove, one enters a secluded little paradise, completely apart from the sometimes mad world of Sri Lanka. Separate, single storey villas are tucked into a beautifully groomed garden offering a sense of natural privacy.
We took two of their beach facing villas with a fresh water swimming pool directly at hand. The clean, white washed villas each had a small garden in the front that meant we could eat or meet with the family in privacy apart from the beach.
The staff are exceptionally well mannered, polite, personable and happy to help. We felt very comfortable letting the children play unsupervised. Sujit, their Lifeguard, kept a constant eye on everything at the pool and beach which was very reassuring.
The food was wonderful. Ample portions - with Western dishes and all the Sri Lankan dishes we could want, all served with characteristic charm.
Even the afternoon rain showers were handled elegantly! It usually cleared quickly leading to some wonderful beach sunsets.
I cannot imagine a better value. There were amenities offered that we didn't even need. It was a wonderful end to our holiday. I recommend everyone experience this gem of hospitality.

Most guests probably have half or full board, so a set menu is included. If i remember correctly the lighter lunch dishes were around 8-12$ (western or fusion cuisine), which is rather expensive compared to outside local restaurants. But the quality is really good!
