We had dined at Caribe Tesoro a few times over the past few years, so we were excited to see the reopening of the Sunset Grill as the island works toward a post-covid world. Dining out over the water with Caribe Tesoro and the expanse of West Bay beach behind you and the perfect sunset on the horizon is amazing... and when paired with the delicious food on their new menu, it made for a night to remember for the 6 of us. Very reasonable prices, tasty drinks and even a table-side magic show while our food was being prepared just added to the experience. We'll be back!

I have stayed here 3 times for several days each time. It is a wonderful smaller mansion like hotel who caters to each guests needs. Very warm and friendly, it is perfectly situated just off West Bay beach and less than a 100 from an excellent dive operator Las Rocas. From the excellent breakfasts you eat on their upstairs veranda to their bar at the pool and walkway connecting the beach I highly recommend this hotel. The food was very good and you have an option of dining out on their pier which is really cool I rent a car at the airport and now since the road is paved from West Bay is a great way to go with ample parking. Genuine care is given to each guest with an assortment of room types. Excellent air conditioning which is a must is very appreciated. I can't wait to get back!…

Hi Rick... We are very happy to have had you stay with us. The hacienda's Mansion rooms are unique in design from each aspect which can easily be seen on the website. We love to get people started with breakfast...sipping coffee overlooking the sea is a truly beautiful way to start your day... and like, we agree, dining on the pier is not to be missed... We spent the weekend at the resort and the service was simply amazing, everyone was very attentive and friendly! Miss Victoria and Miss Danery took great care of us, the other staff (Sam, Shannell, Sonia, Hector, etc...) took special thought in making us feel very much at home, and I cannot forget the housekeepers Maylin and Maidy for keeping our room in the best of shape. This place is a home away from home, a must visit, kid friendly pool of course, great food and amazing drinks! The next time you want to visit the island I would encourage anyone to visit this ISLAND GEM.

There is no doubt that we are working on future returns. Sunrise and sunset at this place are breathtaking and unforgettable. The outstanding service from the employees especially Danery and Victoria was professional in every way possible. Questions???they have answerers,by using their rapid response thicnique they were able to answer all our questions and concerns.. Whatever the reason might be for your getaway, this place covers it a,from family to romantic,personal time alone or even business this is the place I would highly recommend over and over. It surpassed our expectations in every way.. We have no regrets except that our stay was too short. As previously mentioned, the pool is seldom busy however it is a bit on the small side. Car rentals are at the West Bay Mall, not too far from there. Another person that we have used for touring and water trips is Chris Gonzales. He is absolutely awesome. I'm sure you can find him on Facebook. The staff at Caribe are absolutely awesome. A beautiful relaxing resort to stay at. Water taxis will only take you around the West Bay/West End area. If you are travelling further you will need land transportation. This is a busy island, so be aware of that if you are going to drive or use scooters.

Hello! Thank you for your inquiry. The sandy public beach is a short 50 meter walk down the boardwalk. We have sandy areas with lounge chairs for you to enjoy by our salt water pool. The lack of a direct beach pays off as there are no cruise ship mobs, no pesky vendors, and no sand flies! Read the other reviews regarding vendors. Caribe Tesoro is a safe haven from the madness.
