Almost everyone else at the resort was on at least their 2nd or third stay and it was easy to see why. The resort just felt like home. We have always stayed on the beaches but after this I will really appreciate that we were back a bit from the hustle of the beach but an easy walk to get there. Quiet when you want it but within a short stroll to white sands. The cabins were private, cosy and comfortable. Can't wait to go back and stay longer.

For the fourth time, Hubby and I spent our post-mission vacation at West Bay Lodge. Years ago, we would try a new place every year, but after staying at WBL, we just keep coming back year after year! The location can't be beat and the bungalows are very comfortable, but the staff is what really makes it special. We are well taken care of every step of the way, and they all seem really to care about making our stay the best it can be. We also appreciate that the same people are there from year to year. I won't go into too much detail, as this is the fourth time I've reviewed WBL, so you can read more at an older post. We can't wait to go back next March!

It's like your own private oasis. Front porch with hammocks, table and chairs, Privacy from your neighbors. We often had the pool to ourselves and with a young boy, that was awesome for us. Beach in the morning and pool in the afternoon. ALL of the staff are simply amazing, going above and beyond to provide you with what you are looking for. The kitchenette was put to good use for quick and easy meals and snacks. Ask the staff at the hotel to grab you some groceries (yes another service) or take an island tour and stop at a real grocery store on your way back...although there's a store across the street, they are very expensive. Sent our laundry out every second day so we didn't need to pack as many items was sooo good...all included in the stay - no one else does that! Incredible! I can't wait until we get to go back again…

This is by far my favorite place to stay in Roatan. And I've been fortunate enough to come quite a few times. The staff is excellent , kind , accommodating . Whatever you might need or want they will do their best to take care of it for you. The cabins are always clean and well stocked. They have a nice pool to relax by. And their restaurant is the best on the island in my opinion. Can't wait to get back. ✌

We returned to the lovely WBL for our 4th time, again bring friends with us. We finally got to stay in bungalow #5! From the communications pre stay by Melony and Celeste to check out our trip was seamless as always. We had a few days of rain but used those to enjoy the hotel and the pool, and utilize the rum punch package! We enjoyed our included coffee on the deck each morning followed by a great included breakfast. The pool was a great break from the beach when it was crowded, and we enjoyed many meals at the restaurant. Juan Carlos took us on an Island tour and we really enjoyed seeing some new sites, he is the best! Quincy, Troy and the staff of the resort, hotel and Spa took such good care of us be it food, room needs, drinks, massages or area info, we were always well attended too. We went out on a snorkel day with Celeste and some other guests and it was great! I can't Express enough what a home away from home feeling they provide, and we count the days till we can return!…

You can get all levels of different types of massages. They also have massage and dinner packages. Seems to me it was about $120.00 with dinner. Very nice and relaxing place. What a great gift for them.

They do not provide those for the Beach. HOWEVER, they have an agreement with one of the resorts that does offer them on the Beach. So you can pay a one-time charge $10, if I remember right, and have access to their chairs for the duration of your stay. Definitely worth it if you plan on spending a lot of time on the beach! We did not end up doing this, though. We enjoyed either being out on one adventure or another, or simply enjoyed lounging around our bungalows or at the West Bay Lodge pool. It was so peaceful there:-)

RTB- Roatan / American flies thru Miami twice a week and seasonal thru Dallas/ delta thru Atlanta once a week and twice during season/ United thru Houston once a week and twice during season.
West bay Lodge can arrange for pick up.

You can be dropped off here and walk the 3 minutes to the beach. We also have a day spa here that have packages. We can arrange all this for you.
