Felt so good to be back! Always a 5 star treatment from the moment you step in the lobby. Best service in la Palapa and the food great as always. The staff does their best to keep all areas, chairs and tables sanitized between guest. They work non stop with a great attitude and smile behind the masks they wear. If there was a way that can give them more than 5 stars I or I better say we would , From the security personal , To their staff members specially all their staff at Palapa Restaurant were All Very friendly , Generous, just Amazing , We are definitely going back next year with our kids and on a different trip just couples ( No Kids ) Please say hi to all of them from their friends from Chicago and keep up the Excellent work !!!!!!!!!!

We had lunch at the Palapa Bar. Stephanie was our waitress and was tremendous. Friendly, accommodating and funny! Absolutely perfect experience all the way around. The surroundings are beautiful and the music was perfect - good songs and not so loud that you couldn’t hear each other at the table.

30’ from airport to the hotel. It was a Saturday and the Imigration was very SLOW! Luckily we have a 4 y.o. Kid that allowed us to take another line, otherwise would take 1h30 probably. ROOM: Very nice! full kitchen with washing and dryer. Clean, comfortable and very well decorated. The refrigerator’s filter last change was in October and we are in August. It suppose to change every 6 months. FOOD: Very good! BREAKFAST: good. needs extra training for not using their hand to grab the food that will be served to you. SERVICE: friendly people. Two nice woman gave us a nice service: Cindy, a smart person, and Kerrisha, always with a big smile and ready to help us. Some services were slow: Our sofa was ready 1 hour later the time combined at check in. I called before to remind, they came with towels with no sheets for the bed and took more 40’ to come someone. My kids were slept already. TOWELS: very bad! It was not one or two, all of them! It doesn’t match with such a nice room. BEACH: amazing. No waves and a big coral for snorkeling just in front. No boats in front of the hotel, just beside. The chairs are very bad unfortunately. It doesn’t match with the beautiful hotel. Warning for massages offered by people outside hotel. Unfortunately there are a person that has a bed in the hotel area and offered a $30 as a promotion. It was the WORSE massage I had made in my life. We thought it was a service from the hotel once they were inside hotel’s limitations but it is not. She used oil, so I my skin got burned on the first day!!!. Lots of people (men) around you during the massage. The lady was using a mobile ALL the time. The massage was interrupted SEVERAL times because of usage of her phone. She shouted selling her service to people who walked around WHILE making me a massage!!. She even tried to stop a lady giving money to a drank man who was disturbing people. What a kind of people are around? No ethic, no respect, no professionalism. In fact, a disaster. Consider: The Hotel accepts people who come to the restaurant from other place ( maybe locals or from cheaper hotels) and they stay in the pool, not allowed but no controlls. A group of kids insisted in using my kids’ toys and broke one of them. When is cruise’s day ( Tuesday/ Wednesday) the beach gets crowded. …

We had paid a guy with a minivan at the cruise dock to drive us around and stay with us all day while in port. We asked to go to a beach where they would have chairs, towels, food, etc. He took us to Infinity Bay Resort at West Bay Beach. He took us to the beach palapa and explained to the staff what we wanted. We paid $20 and that got us a lounge chair, beach towel, on the beach. The resort had outdoor restaurant/bar and also restrooms. One of the guys in our group also paid a local to take him out on his boat to snorkel further out than the beach. He paid $15 for an hour or so of snorkeling. I highly recommend as if was clean and I felt safe at this beautiful beach. Plenty of sun and shade here too.

I know they rent monthly. I’m not sure what the rates are. They absolutely have kitchen suites and the place is pristine. Good luck!

No there wasn’t a lot of shade umbrellas
Get up early to save one or I heard towel guys can save you one There was a tree on beach we sat under at infinity partial shade

As with poster Erin, the showers had a line for hanging clothes. We found bathing suits etc dried better there because of the A/C than outside in the humidity.
