I stayed here in July 2016, and have recommended it to just about anybody looking to go to the Caribbean. Barbados is exquisite - and the Coral Reef matches this. The hotel oozes luxury and the staff are some of the nicest, most genuine, and helpful people I have come across - not simply from a professional - but a...

Just returned from a stay at both the Sandpiper and Coral Reef Club which are both owned and run by the same family and so it was an interesting comparison. The lasting impression is the quality of the staff. We've never known any friendlier or more welcoming and this goes from the owners through to the maintenance workers. It seems...

We went there for the Sunday buffet. A very good selection of starters, mains and desserts. We spent a lazy 2 1/2 hours there enjoying the food and the sea views. It is an old world experience but great service and worth visiting for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

We were welcomed by the friendliest staff, who were attentive, thoughtful and nothing was a problem. This was probably the biggest highlight for me as a travel blogger because the experiences with people really make or break a place. Lovely management who clearly look after staff members, nice happy vibe. The overall look and feel of the hotel is very...

Had been recommended to visit the Spa - and finally got around to it. Lovely warm welcome, shown around the Spa so that I knew what was where. Its a unisex Spa, but should not be a problem for anybody. The private changing rooms all come with a shower and good toiletries. Robes, slippers and underwear are provided should you...

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of a cruise. It was a recommendation from a friend and thoroughly deserved. Previous reviewers have said everything there is to say about the place so no repetition here except to say we would wholeheartedly endorse those comments. We had a garden room 'Guava' which was tastefully decorated, spacious with a...

we stayed here for one night after a cruise and it was fine. Very nice clean rooms , good beach and good food. But one thing to watch out for - there are a lot of birds with no fear of humans. While we were sitting outside one came and took the lid off our sugar bowl! Plenty of other...

What is he on about, I hear you say. The good bits first. I don't think you will find better gardens anywhere in the world, frequented by the locals ( monkeys, mongoose, giant snails etc.) Rooms are spotlessly clean. Stunning beach offering natural shade under stunning pine trees, lots of sun, gently sloping in the sea. Beach service with a...

I recently enjoyed a fantastic holiday in Barbados and I would not have wanted stay anywhere else. The Coral Reef Club is family run and one of the most relaxing / sophisticated / comfortable hotels I've ever seen. The staff were superb - nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were big with great views. We saw monkeys on the...
