I have been here several times for lunch and afternoon tea and also stopped the night in there B&B, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are very friendly the food is exquisite all home made cakes and sweet treats and you must try the scones they are to die for. The B&B side is also great. The bedrooms are very clean all ensuite well equipped and in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast is so delicious I would go and stop for that alone. I cant wait to go back.

My partner and I visited The Barn Tea Rooms last month for lunch whilst we were out rambling through Hutton-le-Hole. I had a delicious homemade pumpkin and butternut squash soup served with a bread roll, and my partner had a sandwich. We were made to feel very welcome, and the lady running the tea rooms was very friendly and helpful; she gave us a local magazine which came in very handy for the rest of our trip in the North York Moors. Highly recommend this tea room, and the village it is in.

We visited ryedale Folk museum and were told that we could get a discount here if we showed our entry tickets. We were greeted by 2 friendly people (mother and daughter?) and sat near a roaring fire. Our lunch consisted of homemade soup, a very well filled jacket potato with a nice side salad, homemade cake and tea. All delicious if anywhere in the vicinity I highly recommend visiting here
