We had a fabulous long weekend over Easter 2024 at Burnley Country House. We stayed for 3 nights which were arranged online. The house has a traditional country appeal and the rooms are very inviting and comfortable. We were welcomed by excellent customer service and had a very warm and cosy double room. Breakfast was delicious in a idillic and relaxing traditional county kitchen/dining room. The location of the house is central to the village with nearby 'crown pub' just up the road. Hutton le hole is also central to many of the popular and not so popular locations, and is a good place to base your stay. I have no hesitation in fully recommending Burnley County house for your stay, I just wish I could have stayed longer.

Our only regret about our stay with Ruth and Rachael was that it was only for two nights. Hutton-le-hole is extremely pretty and well situated between the moors for walking and the Hemlsley/Pickering/Malton attractions. The old Georgian house is full of character and R and R have been doing a great job renovating it. Our bedroom was really beautiful and there was a very restful vibe. Breakfasts were excellent with lots of little thoughtful touches. Our first morning there was damp and grey and when we came down for breakfast Ruth had a cheerful fire blazing in the dining room. Both Ruth and Rachael were very helpful in recommending walks, eateries, rainy day options - it IS Yorkshire. It was very obvious that they love welcoming people to their new home and they are very enthusiastic about their new project and the surrounding area. We look forward to staying with them again for a bit longer and exploring more of the moors.

We booked this place via Booking.com and so glad we did. We would highly recommend this B & B. As we walked into our room, Classic FM was playing on the TV which we felt was a warm welcome indeed. Rachel and Ruth are excellent hosts. The breakfast was first class and my scrambled egg was the best I've ever had; expertly cooked by Ruth I was informed by Rachael. As it was going to be a cleae night, Rachael recommend we stargaze. There was even a torch in the dressing table draw so they clearly think of everything.

Charming B&B with lovely clean room and great breakfast! The hosts are really friendly and accomodating. We were only stopping one night as we toured Yorkshire over the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend but is the best room and breakfast we have had. The Crown Inn in the village is good for food but was operating with restricted opening hours, due to staffing issues, during our stay.

Lovely overnight stay in the Bransdale room. Room was large, comfortable and clean with a fantastic view. Communication from the hosts was spot on and check in was smooth and simple. We were lucky enough to get a sunny September Saturday so after a walk round the village and a pint in the beer garden of The Crown we plonked our weary bottoms on the handy garden furniture in the gardens of the B&B and enjoyed a glass of wine. Breakfast was an absolute treat. Plentiful fresh chopped fruit was delicious to start followed by the tastiest full English we've had in a long while. Hosts are friendly and welcoming and we are already wondering if we can fit another visit in before the winter kicks in.

We visited Burnley Country House for our Wedding Anniversary and had a fantastic stay. We stayed in a beautiful four poster room with fabulous views from the bedroom and bathroom. Ruth and Rachael are brilliant hosts and can provide loads of local information they recommended local walks and brilliant local pubs to eat. Breakfast was also great with fruit salad, cereals, pastries juices and a lovely cooked breakfast which was cooked to perfection. Early breakfast was accommodated to enable us to get to the steam train in good time. Thank you for a wonderful stay we will definitely be returning. We can thoroughly recommend a stay in this lovely part of the country with fantastic hosts .

What a special experience staying at Burnley County House which was built in the mid 18th century. Sadly we had only allotted the one night which is way too short. Ruth and Rachel’s B&B house felt full of love with every detail. I was mesmerized with the peaceful view from our ‘Bransdale’ bedroom window. I so enjoyed soaking in a glorious classic bathtub while overlooking their private English garden. Our following morning’s breakfast was made special by the owner Ruth sharing stories with us of the homestead while enjoying our yummy home made fruit salad and generous cooked brekkie. My husband and I will definitely return to spend more time in Hutton-Le-Hole and the many neighboring quaint towns that surround this picture-perfect part of the North York Moors. We look greatly forward to that and staying again at Burnley Country House. Thank you dear Ruth for making our memories magical!

We stayed for 2 nights in the Rosedale room, which was perfectly comfortable and cosy. The building itself is in a quaint village and has lovely traditional features. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the host was attentive and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you!

It all began on Friday April 8 2022, on our arrival, we had the most friendliest, warmest welcome from the hosts, whom firstly provided us with all the information we needed and information on the local area. they were amazing in welcoming our dog Lucy whom was with us. We were then shown to our room which was amazing, the room it was light, modern and comfortable, the in room amenities were well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and some local hand made chocolates which were amazing. The breakfast was amazing plenty to choose from and pre order which saves time when you have things planned was amazing, If I was to say everything was (fine) great would be an understatement, I cant wait to book again and return to such a lovely warm and friendly place and village
