Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked 2 rooms for an overnight stay with my mum and daughter to enable us to visit the Xmas craft fair at Blair Castle and House of Bruar sale! Booking was very easy and all directions when we arrived clear.Rooms were spotless and had everything we needed for a warm comfortable stay. Use of the downstairs lounge was great for a Saturday night in November! Little touches like the fresh milk and radio and the delicious breakfast made for a great stay! My eggs Benedict was a wee treat - only downside was my daughters disappointment that there were no potato scones! All in all an easy 5*review ⭐️ thanks John & Rhona

We have been visiting the Dalgreine for several years. Over the years the initial excellence of offering has been maintained and arguably enhanced. John and Rhona are to be commended for the efforts they expend to make every stay a pleasurable experience. Hospitality at its best.

Great find in a fantatsic location, room was a high standard with good facilities and in a great location along the A9 on our way north. Very welcoming and John cooked a mean breakfast, one of the best Guest Houses we've stopped in.

This is a wonderful experience. An old traditional home in a small highland village with a warm welcome and beautiful, very comfortable rooms. Breakfast unlike anywhere else! Marvellous food and sharing a big table is great. Not to be missed. Views at any time of year stunning. We slept soundly and will be delighted to stay for longer next time.

A great B&B! John and Rhona have made something very special. Great rooms and we loved the extra touches like the fridge, the coffee machine and fresh milk. The breakfasts were also perfect with great ingredients that were well cooked. We look forward to coming back!

Rhona and John were the utmost hosts to us for two nights in Blair Atholl! Fantastic hospitality, scrumptious breakfasts and some wonderful football chats with John at breakfast. We will be back to explore the Perthshire Highlands again no doubt and stay again here at Dalgreine House. Highly recommended to stay with Rhona and John!
