My initial reservation wasn’t what I received on arrival, I swapped rooms the next day, to a smaller room & view over buildings.
The rooms are comfortable & tidy, nice & central to everything.
It wasn’t until after I checked in was I informed there would be construction noise due to building works. I was offered a cancellation, which is disappointing after interstate travel & thought of finding another location at last minute tiring.
The parking is my biggest gripe, definitely not enough even if you’ve paid for the week, cars double parked & 1, yes 1 for those like myself with a disability, so be prepared to walk & then once inside walk again to your tower & then to your floor.
Probably a little use to Melbourne quality, personalised & customer attention focus. First stay with this group, I likely given the lack of small detail, to stay again.
BYO bathroom & laundry products, only suitable for one person & laundry to wash an item or two.
There are no vegan options for room service & very few in Bondi Junction, drive to Newtown & you’ll have many choices.
This is basic for suites, looks nice, not disability friendly, lots of walking/getting around. No disabled access to pool. Two lifts to get to Grafton St via reception.
Awkward set up. I guess why it’s so reasonable in price, makes the value a good seller. If travelling light & not needing car parking etc good value & great location.

Dear EatPlayTravelReview Thank you for your review. I am glad to see you found our suites clean, comfortable, tidy and offering good value. I apologise for the disruption caused by the construction, and with challenges, you may have experienced with the parking and access to the pool. Meriton Suites Bondi Junction is about offering a home away from home and great value for money. This property, in particular, is built over a large area with three towers connected by a walkway and two access points to Grafton Street and one to Oxford Street pedestrian zone. Meriton Group has several other properties in NSW and Queensland which may be easier to navigate through. We would welcome an opportunity to serve you better in another property of ours, which perhaps would be easier to navigate through. Sincerely Daniel Sciberras Hotel Manager

The hotel room is spacious. The living room area is spacious and nice with a balcony. The room was clean. The hotel is in an excellent location near a bus exchange where many buses begin and end their route. There is also a subway station that ends at Bondi Junction which is underneath the hotel building. It is a very short ride to the central business district. There is a shopping center only minutes from the hotel that includes large supermarkets. I enjoyed shopping at Coles to buy food. There are two areas for improvement. First, the kitchen area does not have a rack to place a towel and there was no hand towel provided. It does not make sense to walk to the bathroom to obtain the hand towel. The hotels that I have visited with kitchens always provide a towel for the kitchen area. Second, I was initially placed in a room where the bathroom only had a bath and did not have a shower. This is not an acceptable approach for a hotel. These rooms should be very clearly advertised as only with a bath and without a shower. These rooms should not be automatically provided to someone as a standard hotel room or suite.

Dear Professor18, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and the TripAdvisor community. The Meriton Suites Bondi Junction is such a great and convenient place to stay. It has a great pool, Gym to keep your exercise program going. The rooms are equipped with a Kitchen so you could cook your own meals and a washer and dryer so you can keep your clothes clean. The place is completely clean and kept that way. Great service.
The train station and bus station is right under the Meriton. Very convenient to travel into the city. It's only a 15 minute ride depending where you want to go.
Bondi Junction Mall is right in front of the Meriton. You can get all your shopping needs there.
I would recommend The Meriton to anyone.

Cheers

We were very underwhelmed. The only good thing about our stay was the view. Cheap fit out, provisions were minimal, noisy, had to repeatedly call room service/housekeeping to get them to bring things up that we needed (like dishwashing tablets and bin liners) it took 2 phone calls and 5 hours to get them to bring us up a dishwashing tablet.
Fit out and furniture is cheap, the building looks like they had the cheapest and fastest tradies working on it. There were towels lying underneath windows in the lobby because there were leaks.

We have stayed at Meriton towers Sydney CBD in the penthouse and it was exceptional. These apartments were rubbish and way too expensive for what we got. Would NOT stay here again nor recommend to others.

Very spacious, well equipped suites, with pool and gym on site. The rooms are quiet, with very little, if any, street noise - the same applies to between apartments as well.
Staff are very helpful and courteous.
A nice touch to have the option of slippers and use hair straightener .
Great location - adjacent to train station and bus interchange.
Westfield Bondi Junction is just across the road - very convenient.... retail, supermarkets and cinemas in the complex.
I would Thoroughly recommend this property.

Me and my family of two girls booked a luxury 2 bedroom suite for 1 night. This “luxury” suite was located on the 2nd floor with views of the construction work and the highway. Both were noisy and the suite also was situated perhaps above the gym as loud clangs could be heard as if barbells were being picked up and dropped. This made for quite an unpleasant stay in terms of location and it felt like I had been very much ripped off from a luxury experience. Service was also terrible with the front desk taking forever to pick up when all I wanted was a menu. The menu then took 15mins to arrive at my door! Then as the cherry on the cake, the suite, meant to include Foxtel, instead only had channel 7 channels set up. What a joke, by this stage too upset even to bother trying to call service again. Btw they charge $11 on top of Deliveroo just for taking it to your room. So in conclusion this was a terrible experience and not worth the money paid even with a discounted price when booking.

This property has been renovated recently, and is very nicely furnished with all the amenities you could want for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic. You are a few metres from Bondi Junction station, with trains leaving for the city (3-4 stops away) every few minutes. You are also right opposite the Westfield shopping complex, with everything from supermarkets, restaurants and high-end shopping. Bondi Beach is a 15 minute bus ride away, and you can also catch buses to other tourist destinations with ease. The staff are very professional and eager to please.

We just spent a week at the Meriton in Bondi Junction and were again treated to the fantastic facilities, in a great location for a very reasonable price.
We had a fantastic view of Sydney Harbour and the City in the full luxury and convenience of a fully serviced 3 bdrm apartment. The team were fantastic in supporting our request at the last minute to change our room needs and made it easy to just relax and enjoy the week.
The kids loved the pools and had a great time too.
The location is awesome to jump into the City, the Harbour or any of the beaches and with all the options of Bondi Junction shopping on your door step.
If you are looking for a great place to park for an Eastern Sydney stay it's hard to go past the Meriton.

Overall the stay was very good, inconsistencies in room servicing was a let down. My arrival was delayed by 24 hours and reservation kindly deducted the first day from the cost so we enjoyed 6 days in a one bedroom Luxury Suite. Room was of a fantastic size, bedroom had a really comfortable bed with multiple comfortable pillows and lovely linen with additional blankets etc available. Cupboard contained a safe which again needed the battery replaced to be able to use. This seems to be a constant thing that the safe is not checked for being working prior to new guests in many accommodation places I stay. Kitchen had most things you would need for cooking except a pair of tongs but overall really good set up although often the detergents weren't replaced. Amenities in the bathroom were of a good quality again replacement was hit and miss. As I was staying at Bondi Junction for medical and business commitments we were often in the room for long periods but the room was extremely quiet and very comfortable for this long stay. Going out in the morning and returning around lunchtime most days unfortunately the room wasn't serviced till late in the afternoon, the penultimate day was actually nearly 4.30 pm which was the latest day where the girl rushed in banged a few things around left the garbage bins without new binliners and dismantled on the ground didn't replace anything and left a note on the dining table saying todays service was a speedy service this was after I mentioned each day the service got later..... and left all within 5 minutes. Seemed a bit pointless even the towels were not replaced. This was unusual because although the replacement of items was inconsistent it felt like the room had been cleaned. Although the bed linen was supposed to be exchanged during our stay not sure if this happened but the bed was always made up.I would suggest having a broom in the room to enable a sweep to be done when its not done by the cleaner-although there is a dustpan and brush the room is much larger than what that can do satisfactorily. I would definitely stay here again room was great, checkin and out easy, location excellent with easy access by public transport to the city or Bondi Beach and surrounds next door to a large Westfield and more shopping plus restaurants,

After experiencing some delays we eventually made it to check in which was later than expected. Staff friendly but no porter to assist with baggage, Access to tower to only via stairs, got offered room in tower one, at this point not even sure if the room was the ‘lux’ room we had actually booked and paid for. Relatively clean, had to ask for a towel changes (stained but supplied as fresh linen) and for coffee supplies. Pool area was great once we got a key that actually worked, car parking mayhem if you come back after 6/7pm, there was building/renovation works which were not advised about upon booking. Easy to access shops and by bus Bondi beach or walk wasn’t too far either. Just didn’t find the lux in it, especially when you have to cover drain pipes to stop roaches crawling into apartment and you have to ask for everything that is a basic amenity or because it doesn’t work.
