The hotel itself cannot go wrong with such a fabulous location: beautiful views of Lake Garda and it's own private beach. Staying in the suite above the hotel, we were sold the room for a week stay based on its 360 degree view of the lake, but unfortunately, it never mentioned the massive roof extensions obstructing the view.... The room...

Eating HB in a hotel can be a lottery for coeliacs with constant vigilance required, so it was wonderful to be able to relax and enjoy delicious, high quality food perfectly cooked and served by chefs and restaurant staff, who really understood the gluten-free diet. GF bread, cakes and pasta were available as standard, but it was lovely to enjoy...

We were two couples spending a week at the hotell. One of us lived in the Villa and one of us at the bigger house. We all loved the beach (even if it was stones instead of sand) and we loved the garden-style. The breakfast was very good but the dinner at the hotell was not the best but ok....

This is a very very nice hotel. Everything is nice, in its place, and thoughtfully used. The rooms on the second floor don't have a front view of the Garda Lake but the side balcony provides a great view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My children loved the place, its nearness to the lake where they could easily...

I visited Hotel Villa Maria au Lac for a weeks holiday with my Sister and Mother - aged 82. The hotel is just delightful: smallish, nicely decorated and in a perfect location on the lake with its' own small private beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, from Reception to the Dining Room and they all did everything they...

we stayed here for a week and found the hotel and staff perfect. The ground floor room onto the garden was spacious and kept very clean. When mosquito s became a problem the staff provided various techniques and assisted greatly with getting rid of the flies. The choices of food and drinks at breakfast were excellent and the staff very...

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon traveling in Italy and, despite the traffic noise, is a fantastic place to see the lake. Private beach area, an easy walk to Toscalano Moderno and simple drive to anywhere else on the west coast. We had a suite room with balcony and 1st floor bedroom which is great whatever the weather....

Our family booked 5 nights based upon the hotel website and anticipated a 'destination' hotel, although our impression upon leaving was of a great small hotel hampered by some un-4 star-like compromises. Our room and the hotel common areas were airy, uncluttered, comfortable and clean. It was busy. Despite the good stuff, we left feeling a little ambivalent about the...

We spent a long weekend there and booked a delux room. Based on the pictures and descriptions of the hotel, the rooms and the area we expected to have a bit of luxory there, but it everything was poorer quality as in a 3 star hotel: 1. Communication I booked online and had an extra question about food allergy, they...
