We stayed here for a day whilst attending a Saturday function and were very grateful for the local recommendation. The room was bright, clean and warm...it was freezing outside. The food was excellent. Simple , good quality and well prepared. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and this contributed to an easy going atmosphere. Thank you very much.

The night before a friend's celebratory Sunday lunch I stayed at the Chalford House Hotel. My room was extremely comfortable with all the facilities I required. I had a delicious meal in the bar that evening and an equally delicious breakfast the following day. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel as a lovely place...

It's been said an extended hotel stay on business can be a soul-destroying experience, but you and the staff at the Chalford made my 2 week sojourn there feel like home away from home. And you all graciously welcomed my wife when she arrived. So Linda and I would like to thank everyone there for helping us have a lovely...

We spent two nights at Chalford House Hotel, combining a family event with trips to Stonehenge and Salisbury Plain beauty spots. From start to finish, the staff at the hotel were professional yet friendly and did their utmost to make our stay a happy and memorable one; we could not fault them. The hotel itself was extremely clean, quiet and...

We needed to stay in an hotel which would enable us to avoid the bottlenecks at Stonehenge/Amesbury and this was ideal as it allows you to drive to the east and arrive in Andover. The roads are narrow but the scenery is lovely and there are many old buildings to admire. The hotel is currently being refurbishes. Our room was...

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel, I have made a note of your comments and am pleased you found your stay generally satisfactory. I noticed you say you didn't find any marmalade or plain yogurt, the marmalade is homemade so is offered in small dishes which are placed near the jams & again the plain yogurt...

What a gem this hotel is! Fantastic decor throughout but more importantly wonderful service, nothing was too much trouble, my Son forgot his toothpaste, no sooner mentioned than the proprietor presented him with a tube which he had been out to acquire some. Very pleasant dining room with an opportunity to eat on the outside decking and admire the view....

I had the opportunity to stay at the Chalford House Hotel for 9 days/nights in early June. The staff, including owners Ashley and Rachel, were absolutely wonderful. My room, as well as my co-workers' with whom I traveled, was immaculately maintained each day. The hotel offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner - all of which we sampled most days - the...
