This place is amazing and breath taken. At the beginning before I stayed here, I read the reviews and noticed a lot bad reviews were left and that made me a little nervous. But I still went ahead and booked it, so I can see for myself. I was very pleased that I went with my gut and, I am...

The perfect amount of chilly weather made us enjoy the estate that much more. This was my first stay at any chateau and the experience couldn't have been more magical. Everything from the staff to the manager, service, luxury, peace and quiet, scenery, was just perfect. Afternoon boat ride was very romantic and serene. We would love to take our...

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Maybe it was a beautiful chateau once, but it is now a run-down second-rate hotel which I would not even rate as a 1-star. There are only two staff here (I doubt very much if there is a chef), one girl at the desk who does everything, and a waiter in the restaurant. The...

Arriving at the hotel it looked picture postcard perfect but it was all downhill from there. We were allocated a room in the attic of one of the outbuildings and couldn't believe the horrors therein! The room was tiny, the toilet was filthy, there were holes in the bedcover which appeared to date from the 1960's both in appearance and...

We booked two nights in this - still beautiful but neglected - chateau based on the description on its website. What an awful disappointment! This historic castle in a gorgeous setting was recently sold to a Chinese group and the service has gone downhill ever since. The carpeting in the rooms and corridors were worn to the treads, the food...

As we drove up the drive I thought yes I have picked well, all look great just out of a fairy tail, but how wrong can I be. Where to I start having been shown our room which did look lovely the only person at this supposedly 5 star place working here left quickly after an very early start and...

The Chateau exterior and surrounding grounds are very attractive. The bed (guestroom #61) was hopelessly narrow for two persons. Ultimately had to shift some bedding and try to sleep on the floor. The confirmation notice claimed "King, Queen, or two Single beds", but this was not true. The lack of concern for providing guests a decent chance to sleep was...

There is something very wrong with a chateau in France when the front of the house speaks neither French nor English. The rugs are frayed and the window coverings are dusty. The bathrooms are clean but the sinks, toilets and tubs all need work. And the dining room selections were rarely available as advertised. The grounds are beautiful so fix...

This place is so overrated! We only stayed here because our original hotel was not ready. We thought we lucked out and got upgraded cos it was a "chateau" but not an upgrade at all. The rooms furnishings are dated and the hall smells like newly-applied room freshener. In addition, the place is understaffed. Worse of all, they keep foisting...

Amazing hotel . Old castle. Nice and big rooms ,the most of them with amazing view . You can hire free a bicycle or a boat and try to a explore the huge estate. You should go for a walk in the forest . I think is a little bit expensive but for a castle with 5 stars is pretty...
