Beautiful mountain resort. A bit rustic but the landscape and views were amazing. Slept like a baby during our stay. A must if you go is to do the guided night walk in the rainforest and to zipline in the cloud forest. The restaurant on the property (Laggos) had excellent food and wine. went here with my boyfriend on a romantic weekend. we drove up with no reservations and no idea where we were going. when we walked into our room we were blown away. the highest ceilings, large windows with panoramic views. giant jacuzzi tub, and king size bed with cozy down comforters. breakfast was not the best but good. lots of...

I stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the stay. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The one limitation is that the grounds are massive and a shuttle was needed to get from the rooms to the reception. The shuttle service is quick though so it wasn't a problem unless it was after 10pm....

Uphill buildings are perched with a West view of the Gulf of Nicoyia. Floor to ceiling windows provide perfect view of beautiful sunsets. A shuttle takes you down to the base dining or uphill to trails or zip line. Midway down is an indoor heated pool. Rooms are big, very comfortable with big, very modern bathroom.
