Baia's concept is excellent.
I was in Baia Lara 3 years ago, and everything there was excellent and perfect, which gave me confidence in chosing Baia Bodrum as my resort.
Regarding Baia Bodrum, whilst the hotel is not very big, in comparison to other hotels, it offerd everything I could ask for. There were plenty of umbrellas by the pool and the beach.
The bars are stocked with a wide variety of imported drinks and alcohol, and there is a long list of avalible coctails on all 3 bars if the hotel.
The food quality was excellent although it somewhat lacked in variety, as most dishes were similar to each other, and there wasn't enough variety, with the food being similar tothe previus day.
The starbucks coffe bar was quite nice, and offerd a reasonable menu, and my kids were pleased with the drinks they ordered.(note: the menu doesn't have all the drinks that a standard starbucks does, but the most imprtant drinks were there).
The rooms were regularly cleaned and were spotless, with the room towels being changed daily.
One downside to the hotel is that it is built on a hill, so there are a lot of stairs that you have to go up, and there are some sections that cannot be traversed by elevator, and you have to climp up the stairs, which makes the hotel difficult for people who have difficulties with stairs, toddlers in baby carriages, or disabled people.
Overall, i would recomend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday.

A late review as we went mid-June 22. We had a week stay here which was booked last minute with Jet2 Holidays. Flight out had a delay (an hour sat on the taxi way as the original slot had been missed) but other than that uneventful. Arrival at Milas-Bodrum Airport we were held for near on an hour due to the Passport Control/Immigration IT system being down. Arrived at the Hotel after a 40 minute transfer. We opted for a private transfer (around £70 return) which was well worth it as we were away straight away after meeting the Jet2 representative.
This hotel has only been open to the UK market since 1 June 22 so I counted around 10 guests from the UK there. The remaining were mostly Turkish guests, Russian/Eastern Europe and a few from the Middle East and Germany. Quite a mixture really. Reception staff were very helpful on arrival (and on other interactions we had with them)
Rooms
All rooms had some sort of sea/bay view. Couldn’t fault the view from ours (Block 5) which we overlooked the A La Carte Restaurant area and had stunning views over the bay. Room was a Deluxe with sea view which it was exactly what it was. It was to a good standard. Note that we had a room with an interconnecting door to the next room. This let through a lot of noise from the next room compared to the solid wall from the neighbours on the other side which we never heard a thing. We just put up with it but if we had been staying longer than a week I would have asked for a room change as you just may as well move in together as you could hear everything that went on. Also, if you have heavy footed people in the room above you could hear them moving around too. Good shower in the bathroom and found the bed (double) very comfortable. Plenty of toiletries in in the bathroom and our towels were replaced every day. Air con worked well in the room too though as in many other hotels once you open the balcony doors or remove the room card key from the slot by the main door it would go off. Balcony has a clothes airer and table and chairs. Only thing to note is that there weren’t many electrical sockets in the room. Only spare ones were one by each bedside table and one in the bathroom. There were sockets behind the TV/Minibar cabinet if you could reach them. There was a TV, lots of channels but only a handful relevant for UK visitors. There was a fridge in the room which has 2 cans of beer, 2 cans of Coke, 1 can of Sprite, 1 can of Iced Tea, 2 small bottles of Sprite and 2 small bottles of water. The fridge was restocked daily replacing anything that had been used. There is also tea/coffee making facilities in the room with a kettle and coffee/tea/sugar sachets. There was also a large bottle of water for use with the kettle.
Out of all the accommodation areas the blocks (3, 4 and 5) at the front lower levels of the hotel seemed well away from everything but close enough. Not sure if we would have liked the rooms that sat directly under the main pool area (rooms starting with a 6) though

Food and Drink
There are 3 main eating areas:
Main Restaurant which is where Breakfast, Evening Meal and Night Buffet is served. Very good, well-presented range of food. Maybe not suited to the UK palette but I’m a fussy eater and never had any problems particularly as some items you just didn’t know what it was but best advice is to be adventurous and try new things. All up to a very good standard, plenty of choice and though we were there for just 1 week it was a different variety each evening. Staff in the Restaurant were very good and did their best to keep tables cleaned and free for next use. For breakfast we found the best time to go was between 0700 and 0900 as it started to get quite busy after that. When busy it can be difficult to ask for tea or coffee from the waiting staff. You have to ask for it at the table, there is no self-service for hot drinks and cold drinks (apart from Orange Juice in the mornings which I’m pleased to say is fresh juice so not watered-down concentrate like I’ve seen at other All-Inclusive hotels).
Snack Restaurant is where you take Lunch and is located down by the sea front area. This isn’t a buffet as you order from a menu. The portions can be a bit small, but we found the food to be of a good standard and if you were still hungry just order more.
Baia Patisserie. This is located next to the Main Pool Bar and here there is a range of pastries mainly and is where the ice cream freezer is located where you just help yourself. Here there is also a Starbucks coffee area where you can get a usual range of drinks (hot and iced).
Bars. There are 4 Bars. One in the Lobby (open 24 hours), One at the Main Pool next to the Patisserie, One at the Sea Front Pier and there is another at the Snack Restaurant area. Good to see branded drinks here. Beer is Tuborg Gold. Soft Drinks are Sprite and Coca-Cola. Gin is Gordons or Gilbey’s. Vodka is Smirnoff or Gilbey’s. Wines aren’t too bad which if I think were Turkish in origin (Majestik if I remember rightly).
Pools/sunbathing areas. There is the indoor pool (never used it), main pool, sea/beach area and a Mini Water Park (open for about 5 hours a day).
Main Pool was our favourite spot though could get a bit noisy is you don’t appreciate European Dance Music but there was a quite(ish) time between 1230 and 1500. I suppose they try and cater for everyone and the Animation Team are always trying to coax you into joining in the activities. Sunbeds were never and issue to find as a lot of people seem to head down to the sea/beach area. There is maybe 40 ish sunbeds around the pool semi-submerged at the side of the pool but these didn’t seem popular along with the large c shaped suspended swinging beds. Be aware that if using the semi submerged sunbeds at the foot of them there is some of jointing sealant/compound that fills a gap in the tiling all around the pool. Be cautious about touching this or standing on it as it gives off a black substance which you can see had rubbed off people on some of the sunbeds. We saw people/children with black marks on their skin and swimwear because of this.
Sea/Beach area had plenty of sunbeds and also a bar down on the pier area. Only used this area once but we found it a good place to go if you like to be close to the sea. Beaches not particularly large and the sea was very clean albeit quite cold in mid-June.
Mini Aqua Park. This is located next the Block 5 and we could see it from our ROOM BALCONY. Can’t comment on what it’s like as we didn’t have any children with us but looked a good safe area with mini water park items in it (and sunbeds too).
Entertainment. The Animation team did a good job during the day and they were always about a night where they put on a kids disco and then there was usually some sort of entertainment after this which went on until around 2300.
Amenities. There are a couple of shops, hairdressers, kids club, Spa, Bowling alley and games areas.
Other Info. If you have a late flight you can keep your room for 20 Euros an hour. We found this slightly expensive so didn’t use this. You can though leave luggage either in the main reception or in a separate area which wasn’t locked so not sure either option was that secure so if someone did feel the urge to take or get into your belongings then easily done though but we never had any issues. If you’ve checked out you can also use the Spa for changing/showering. Just go in and ask the Spa receptionist to use the facilities (towels are available just as you enter after the reception area).

Thanks to this place for unforgettable one week vacation!
First of all would like to thanks animators ladies Sofiya and Ishil for their warm welcoming and being with us all days long !
The location of the hotel is great, you can easily reach all places outside the hotel maximum in 30 minutes. Also, the view from the hotel is 10/10!!!
However , hotel management should definitely work on housekeeping services and F&B.
We were calling everyday to remind to clean our room and they were just changing our towels, cleaning the toilet and making the bed. In one week they didn’t change our bed linens and bring new slippers even ones. The most interesting part is that we didn’t have bathrobes ,which definitely supposed to be in 5* hotel. Also, the watering flower equipment in the room balconies settled very strange, and everything what you hang for drying will be wet again in the night ,because it works somewhere at 1am. The balconies do not have any keys inside the room, which is not safety at all. We forgot our keys in the room and just entered there easily from the balcony.

Regarding the F&B - I would advise to work on food variety, because its very poor and not that delicious. The service team is a bit slow , which also need to be improved, but still very helpful and kind! Especially waiter Mr. Can, who served us lunch and breakfast.

Moreover, the beach area is very cozy, but cleaning part there is also struggling. It takes a lot of time to find a beach boy to ask for any help.

Baia hotel is more family hotel ,full of families and kids. But if you like to party, you can go outside the hotel , because everything is close enough!

I would recommend this hotel for staying and will definitely come back!

Pictures don’t justify the beauty, exclusivity and elegance of this paradise.
The staffs are extremely friendly, warm and attentive.
The verity of the food is unbelievable. Not only extremely fresh, tasty but also super healthy.
Tunchan Ozdemir, the kitchen executive Chef , had personally welcomed the guests and make sure everyone is taking care of. Couldn’t ask for more.
The spa and staffs are amazing.
I have extended my staying here.
Highly recommended. 🥰😊

Visited this hotel for a week, came all the way from Dallas with my family and oh my! The hotel was beautiful, the view, the location, food, staff, rooms and service was just over the top and exceeded all my expectations. I really couldn’t get enough of this hotel and will definitely visit again next year. And I have to give my special thanks to Tunchan Ozdemir, the head chef. My daughter has celiac disease therefore, she needed a special meal service and no contamination with gluten. And Mr. Tunchan specifically provided her with the best gluten free meals, and payed attention even to the smallest detail. Her meals would be cooked in a separate place than everyone else’s, and plated in a beautiful way. She was really happy with her food, and as a parent I felt at peace knowing my daughter’s illness didn’t limit her from enjoying delicious turkish foods!
Also, special thanks to Ms. Melike, she was so helpful, and got us everything we asked for. We are really grateful and happy that we got to meet someone amazing as her, thank you again Melike for your wonderful service!
Again, I recommend this hotel to everyone planning to visit Bodrum!!!

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Baia and must say it has left me a little bit disappointed.
The staff were very help full but the running of the hotel is poor as this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. The room was of a good size but I don’t think you should have paper cups for making tea & Coffee in the mini bar was poorly stocked no wine only beer, coke and water rood did not get cleaned every day. Food in the restaurant was self service and if you wish to go to the service restaurant’s you had to pay not what I would call all-inclusive.
The hotel was supposed to be child friendly the main pool is very large and great for adults but dangers for kids as all round the edge is 0.2 mts then with no warning drips to 1.35 mts we had a young child walk off the edge on our 1st day without realising good job we were with her it could of ended badly. There are no lifeguards at the pool or children slide pool which on 3 time we went to the water on the slides was turned off.
The hotel plays music at the pool up to after 11:30 at night this can be heard in most of the bay and I measured it at 80DB in our room so it was very hard to have an early night and not good for putting young children to bed
I expect more from a 5star hotel and would not use this hotel again and I am a regular visitor to Gundogen.

We stayed at Hotel Baia Bodrum last week. Pristine waters of the Agean Sea at the Gündoğan area of Bodrum was absolutely marvelous. The food was excellent, The hotel being an all inclusive one, really excelled in the quality of the food served. Yes the food was great the sea was great, but the best of all was the friendly world class service provided by the world-class hotel staff. Without exception, all hotel personnel were extremely friendly and did everything possible to provide the guests with the experience of a lifetime. Although every member of the hotel staff was absolutely superb, Front desk staff, especially Dolunay and Murat, the Food and Beverage Manager Yunus Kılıç, Restaurant Captain Mehmet Ali Çelik, waiters Şükran Aslan, and Muhammet Moğol, Housekeeping staff Bayram and Zeliha of the tour operating firm were the most noteworthy heroes of the Hotel staff. I recommend this hotel to anyone that would enjoy great food, great sea, and and great hospitality provided by an excellent hotel staff. One other plus of the Baia was the great music duo who were great guitar players, playing espeially the tunes of the Musical Group Gyps Kings. Go to Baia Hotel and have a wonderful experience.

This is a large resort, loud music and not a 5* approach at all.

The rooms are dated and tired. The service is friendly but not attentive. i.e we ordered things at lunch and dinner and often the correct items would not arrive, or arrive at all! The food is fine at breakfast, bad at lunch and decent at dinner. This is not a hotel where you go to relax and be pampered, it is more suited to families with young children.

This is an all inclusive hotel but the quality of the food and beverage is quite poor. Also you have to pay to use things like the bowling lane, pool table and basic water sports, which is a shame. The vibe of the hotel would be nice if these things were included, as you had to pay, these areas of the hotel were always dead.

Finally, Turkey are quite good at feeding the cats and providing them with medical attention, this hotel does not do that, so the cats are constantly asking to me fed at every meal which makes you just feel bad. Some were injured which is hard to watch.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. No air conditioning in any common areas so feels like a sauna. Air con in room also very poor. Rooms and hallways extremely dated - clearly haven’t been renovated in years. Staff was completely clueless. Very difficult from beach to get to your room or reception - literally NO signs directing you, need to take two lifts, walk for 10 min, walk through hideous discoteca area where there are Children’s games just strewn around like an abandoned carnival. The fact this hotel calls itself 5 star is a joke, this is a three star hotel pretending to be five star. Can’t comment on the food as we had no interest in spending further time at the hotel.

Is only a village location close by - couple of supermarkets and local shops - restaurants and cafes along seafront. Bodrum town is a short trip in the local bus which runs to the early hours of the morning and is cheap
