We were unfortunately not very lucky with the weather and had daily heavy thunderstorms and mostly cloudy weather. Everything (speedboat transfer to island Mak, parking car, luggage handling) was well prepared by hotel. Hotel itself needs to be renovated, although only 7-8 years old. Most constructions are made from natural materials and that involves higher maintenance and of course higher...

Great hotel, we rested it for 2 days , the Bungalow is very nice , has everything , towels, Slippers, satellite TV , wifi, the bed is a four poster bed , nice bathroom with a window . It so happened that the two days we were the only guests and it was awesome. On site pool is huge. Some...

Very clean and pleasant little resort in the tropical atmosphere with a stunning view. The room was comfortable and very clean. The staff helped us so much, giving good advises and helping arrange transport. They all speaks English very well.

We left quite dissappointed from this resort. The staff is friendly, but the place looks just abandoned. Swiming pool not working, beach abandoned (full of rubbish), room nice but not enough cleaned. Maybe we had too high expectations, but this is not what the descriptions say at all. We must also say that it was very windy, so maybe this...

Booked two nights but after the first hour here were looking to get out. The whole resort is unkempt to the point of being dangerous. Wooden walkways are very uneven and full of holes and loose boards, the door handle to our room broke as soon as we used it, staff is indifferent and clearly untrained. The pool was unusable...

I booked this place paying over twice as much as the previous place I stayed in Koh Mak expecting to be wowed but left feeling rather disappointed. The resort itself is nice enough. The staff were quite miserable and the breakfast was disappointing. It had the feeling that all the resort was interested in was making money. Wouldn't go again.

Stayed here for 4 nights over the christmas period in one of the beach front bungalows and I am sad to say myself and my partner left disappointed. We are backpacking around Asia and booked here hoping we would escape the crowds whilst treating ourselves to a bit of luxury. The website says the resort organises a free pick up...

It is the third time we travelled to koh mak, and the first time to cinnamon. The resort is on the north east coast, so little far from the main beaches. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the staff there are all very attentive and friendly. There was no beach but the wooden pontoon brings us directly in the...
