Palm Beach Resort is a good place to stay with some very nice cottages located in a very well kept garden only a few metros from de see, however there are a few things you should keep in mind: 1.The beach in front of the hotel is rocky, if you like to swim it would be better to walk 3040m...

Electricity on the island is usually off for the hot period of day. And it is very hot in palm beach territory. The ao kao resort place has tree shadow and wind and so is much better. Besides, single air conditioner is not enough for family bungalow. Prices in Palm beach resort restaurant are higher, and we didn't get any...

Stayed here for 5 days over New Year- really lovely relaxed place- we had a quad bungalow - really well layed out and comfortable. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant and the owners are very helpful and approachable. The beach section is well designed and the location is ideal - easy to walk up to other bars and restaurants...

Seven of us stayed at this resort for 5 days. It was amazing. First of all, Koh Mak is a wonderful, isolated, small place. A 45 minute speedboat ride took us to the island. The owners of Palm Beach picked us up and took us to the resort. It is a family run, modest affair, the the german owners could...

The location is excellent as it fronts a glorious long white sand beach with warm clear water for swimming. The service couldn't be faulted - every request was attended to immediately, even when we came in late at night and couldn't figure out how to get the aircon going. The meals are reasonably priced and tasty. And the bungalows are...

Got a very nice deal as walk in. It was late march so low season was setting in. Bungalows in mint condition, with all modern amenities, in beautiful settings. Staff/owner relaxed and friendly. Small but excellent menu and compliments to the local cook. Theres not that much to do around Koh Mak, but thats kind off the point - Palm...

Located about a 20-30 min walk along the beach from the main centre or a 50 bht pp taxi ride but the area is a lot nicer and there are a few restaurants near the main entrance to the resort. The rooms are of a good size with a roof terrace which was a good place to get out of...

Sometimes you take a risk on a hotel, this one did not turn out great for us. We were spoilt on our previous stop on our trip- Shantaa on Koh Kood. When we arrived at Palm Beach, it was cute enough- well manicured and presented grounds, pool, funky 2 storey villas. But on inspection of the room, noticed there was...
