We stayed on this island for 4 days 3 nights. We chose Ao pong resort after checking reviews on trip advisor and we really had the best time in this resort. Resort is quite, it's new cottages are superb (we stayed in new one). I insist to book only in new cottage. A/C , hot water 24/7, dryer, towel and...

Ko Mak is quiet and this would be the most serene place on the island. It is a few minutes walk from Ao Nid pier and located on a private beach, this is the fuss-free place where you can chillax all day, all night long. Bike rentals, meals and snorkeling equipments are available.

we have been at AoPong twice already. The first stay in 2014 was more three weeks, second stay in 2016, also more three weeks. What is the best in AoPong, is its location. It is isolated and very quiet resort. Ms. Riam (owner) is a great cook, speaks English very well, and we like to talk with her. During our...

Very nice resort in Koh Mak, a little bit "far" from the little road where other restaurants are, but you need transport to move in the island (moto or bike). I was moving by bike everyday, no problem at all! The bungalows are in the same beach. nice snorkeling, beautiful views. Calm & peace. The owners are great people, they...

This was one of the most peaceful places I've ever stayed. The waves and the birds and the giant butterflies....just sitting on the deck was a pleasure. We rented bicycles and enjoyed riding around the island. The remote location was not a problem at all. We stayed in one of the older units with a/c, and it was worth the...

After three nights we changed the room, caus we had only a reservation for three nights, but micel give us the chance to enjoy our last three nights in one of his new bungalows. They...

This is a fantastic place, especially the brand new bungalows they added recently. A bit far from anything else on the island, but you'll need a moped anyway. It has a lovely little beach and the people who run it are very friendly.

One of the loveliest places I've ever stayed in. so peaceful, beautiful, kind attentive hosts, simple - everything you could wish for just 500 Baht / night (air-con) in the rainy season - but there's been not much rain at all! But bed mattress is like sleeping on a concrete floor! Even paradise has its imperfections!

Spent 12 days here with the idea of total escapism and relaxation, received both. There are maybe 7/8 huts here so no noise, the beach is nothing special the resorts on the s.east is where you'll find a beautiful stretch of beach. It's isolated as the beach it over looks is short, small eating area of 5 tables and a...

Great location (quiet, isolated, still everything is close enough). Private beach is beautiful but rocky. Quite nice for snorkeling, perfect for relaxing, not the best for swimming, but there are sandy beachies close by. Charming restaurant, great food and amazing staff is very helpful. I was travelling with 2 other girls, so we needed to take bigger bungalow with a/c...
