Stopped in teh Red Lion over weekend 11 - 13th November. I was at an exhibition near by with my wife, mum and brother. There was no problem with my room [room 28] thought the bathroom ceiling could do with repainting. Unfortunately the group booking the room booked a double for mum and brother instead of twin. The young receptionist... More

Friendly staff and good bunch of locals here. Best place to go for a drink in Spalding and as a plus they have a good Indian attached to it if you get hungry. Changes the beers every once in a while but the regular bass is much appreciated by me!

My two friends and I stayed here for a night. The welcome was very friendly. The rooms were all perfectly fine. The car parking area is literally two minutes walk away. After a lovely day and evening around Spalding it was lovely to be able to come back and have a drink in the very friendly bar of the hotel.... More

Very friendly and helpful staff went out of their way to accommodate our large group. The meal was good and we were made extremely welcome. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Wisbech area.

This is my third stay at the Red Lion and as usual it was very pleasant. The hotel is feeling a little tired but don't let this put you off, it's rooms are always well presented and clean. The staff are super helpful and very attentive. Downstairs it is a typical English pub, with a loyal group of locals, many... More

Booked into this hotel whilst attending a wedding. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was comfortable and we slept very well. We had a full English breakfast, cereal and toast for breakfast. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed for business here on recommendation of Rob , who is obviously more of a back packer than seasoned business traveller! This is a locals pub with rooms above and an Indian restaurant attached...get your head around that and it is fine. Room clean, freshly cooked breakfast + centrally located. But noisy, dated + for want of better word rough!... More
