Detailed Reviews
My 3rd booking and another great stay. As with last time a large group of us booked a few of the wigwams out, had drinks around the fire and enjoyed the hottub. It was our first time having booked one of the hottubs and we will be doing this again!! Its a great place for a big group of us to come for a night and chill out. The wigwams have everything you need and more, they are spotless and the business owners can not do more for you. See you again in Summer!

Just returned today after a 2 night birthday stay for my partner. Had a lovely time.
Just be warned, everything is extra.
WIFI - Extra
Logs - Extra
Electric - Extra
Couldn't get the hotub hot enough first day.
However it was a lovely place and for someone who hates camping, I loved it. I loved sitting round the fire pit in the dark, cooking the morning bacon on it. The Pods are great. Toilet, shower, hob, TV, microwave and kettle.
River Welland is a 6 minute walk and McDonald's a 5 min drive.

We arrived on the Friday evening and left on the Sunday Morning. The contactless arrival by means of keypad gate access was easy to navigate. The hut itself was clean both to the sight and smell. Facilities and equipment available was as detailed in the booking and advertisements. Experience overall was great. If you have been glamping before and enjoyed it then this will not disappoint. We booked a hut with no hot tub, but would recommend if in the chillier times of the UK year that spending the extra on a hot tub makes the whole experience a little more exciting and special. Overall amazing and would consist again. Great for couples and families.

Arrived home today after a weekend here.
We did have a lovely time but my overall feeling is disappointed.
I think I’d read so many great reviews that I thought we’d just instantly love it but sadly that wasn’t the case. When we arrived everything was there for us for the fire pit etc but initially I assumed the hot tub was for the pod next to us as it seemed so far from our door. I’d hoped that it would be more private with maybe a path leading towards it rather than just the stones but realistically almost every other pod can see you enter the fenced off area to the hot tub and then if you sit on the side or stand everyone can see you above the fence too. That might not be a problem for some but for me it definitely was.
Everything inside the pod was very cosy and compact as expected but I was very disappointed to find that as part of the cleaning equipment left under the sink there was an old very clearly used sponge! The toaster was also brown with crumbs still on the top and there was a very large cob web blowing around on the bathroom ceiling.
I understand that we’re “glamping” but it wasn’t a cheap price we’d paid so I’d at least expect a new sponge?
Those things aside, the location is really lovely and the outdoor area is great for the children to run and play and we had some great fun playing baseball and frisbee etc.
The evening was really nice around the fire and the pods are spaced out enough that the noise from other groups doesn’t bother you too much.
We had good phone signal so didn’t have to pay for the WiFi and we only had to put £1 in the meter for electric.
I would recommend people go here for sure but for us, those few things did leave us a bit disappointed this time round.

Myself and my boyfriend visited Wigwam Holidays Crowtree in October and we were so pleased with every aspect of our stay. The pod was cosy, clean and had everything we needed in it. The hot tub was easy to warm up and a great addition, allowing us to fully relax in such a tranquil setting. We have recommended to all of our friends and we plan to return next year. Thank you for providing such a fantastic getaway despite these challenging times.

Couldn't recommend this place enough! We stayed in the Anne's Mews Lodge for 3 nights and throughly enjoyed it. The site and the lodge were spotless and the hot tub really made the stay extra special. The kids enjoyed playing on the land, and made the most of the football nets and cricket sets. Ideal place to relax, and all lodges / pods spaced out so you can't hear anything from anyone else.
Shops only a few miles away, which were ideal. Qwe used the fire pit and BBQ which were lovely in the evenings!
On checking out we realised we left a bracelet in the lodge, the owner Patrick was amazing and very kindly posted it out to us straight away. He also greeted us and ensured we were enjoying ourselves half way through our stay.
I would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
Thank you!!!

We have just returned home from a 2 night stay at crowtree Wigwam’s, what a lovely little place!
Unfortunately due to the current pandemic we were unable to meet the owners but we did not need anything that wasn’t readily available from them.
We came for some much needed us time away from day to day life and that is exactly what we got! The most peaceful place to relax, the dog was in her element and we thoroughly enjoyed the time away, we will definitely book something like this again thanks to our stay here.
Our only regret is that we only took enough food to bbq one night, We wished we had of done it for both nights of our stay as there is not a lot to do locally and so we would have liked to have stayed at the pod to enjoy the location where it was based more, we know for next time!
So many people have asked where we have stayed via our Instagram posts as it is so pretty.
Thank you so much, we loved it!

Overall a lovely stay. I went with friends and our kids and dog. I was a bit wary of letting the dog off lead at first with the cows being so close (next field!) and the outdoor area of Anne’s Mews not being fully enclosed but I found he didn’t wander too far and the site is actually fenced in discreetly so he wouldn’t get far.
The lodge was great, exceptionally well stocked kitchen with everything you’d need, oven was also good (if you stay in caravans you’ll know they’re normally tiny) no microwave but didn’t need it. The only thing I’d say is that the dining table inside is too big, a foldable one would be better to allow a bit more living space while inside. We did spend the majority of time outdoors though. Shower was powerful and big enough to be comfortable. Pull out beds surprisingly comfortable too. Hot tub was lovely! Although the lid is cumbersome but that can’t be helped. The kids loved being able to run round and play with the dog, we played a game from the communal bit, the pool table only takes 50p which was a shame as we didn’t have any. We would stay again but I imagine if the weathers rubbish it would be a bit boring. Didn’t use the wifi as couldn’t find the info and the kids weren’t bothered anyway. All age 11 so big on using devices normally.

We stayed at Crowtree last weekend, just my partner & I. It was perfect 😄 the wigwam was everything we needed, compact but great. We stayed in number 9 on the end, we paid for a fire pit and had a lovely bbq followed by a night by the fire.
There were a few changes due to covid we had to take our own bedding and towels but whilst on site we felt perfectly safe.
It was so nice to be in the middle of no where and just relax and go for walks.
We will definitely be recommending Crowtree to friends and family.

I can't recommend this place enough. The site has 9 wigwams with two being hot tub versions plus a sauna to hire. The setting is rural and tranquil with them spaced around a big green with meadow flowers and trees. The wigwams are fabulously clean and just lovely. There is plenty to do but for us we wanted a relaxing break with the hot tub and the local walk behind the site accessed by a gate to rear of the site. If you want a peaceful camping experience without the tent this is for you! We have booked to return next year whilst there as we loved it.

Hi Stacey. The owners - Patrick and Anne can probably upgrade you to the Hot Tub. 01406 373341. Lots to do in the area depending on what you want and the ages of the party. We went to the Owl sanctuary and the Boston Stump! You will really enjoy it.
Thank you for you enquiry Yes dogs are welcome
