Lovely meal again at Mckees. Great service and good portion sizes. Added extra of crackers. Would definitely recommend to others. Good value at £20.50 for three courses too with complimentary bread, coffee/tea and pies.

Visiting McKees Brasserie, at Haigs, we saw a lady struggling, in a lot of pain, supported by her husband who could not move her. We alerted the staff, and they could not have been more supportive. The lady on reception fetched the chef, who came to help. They then supported the lady to a chair. Later, they moved the couples room to a ground floor bedroom, made sure they were comfortable, and took them some food. Superb.

Booked in here as it was convenient to get to the NEC. Staff friendly. Only ate breakfast on one day which was ample and tasty. The hotel itself is like stepping back in time. Very dated. Rooms were ok, bed ok. Shower extremely small and getting hot water takes ages. On the plus side the price was very reasonable. Do not use the taxi service A2B if you need to get around. Very unreliable.

Afternoon Tea for a party of 20. Saturday 28th Aug. Most enjoyable afternoon. The food was delicious, a lovely selection of food. Our special diet requests were catered for, served to the correct tables. Staff were very attentive to our every need. I was so pleased when I arrived, to see how lovely the garden looked - and that our tables were set up exactly as i had requested. I am so pleased that I was introduced to Haig's Hotel & Restaurant by a friend. We will certainly be recommending Haig's!!

Last minute booking. Scarlett aS more than helpful sorting out a table for me and 3 guests. We asked for some changes to the menu and this was sorted. Plenty of sandwiches and cakes and what wasn't eaten was boxed up for us.This was lovely and we would certainl y go again. Thank you for looking after us so well
