A place to ease your soul and mind. The embedded love can be seen in every little detail of the house. Time flies in the walks in the beautiful village of Kovachevitsa and it surroundings and even gets better when you rest in this little paradise in the middle. :)

If there is one place not to miss going to whilst in Bulgaria its Lavanda Guest House in Kovechevista. Silvana and her husband are the most perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and the food they produce is beyond delicious. Its a place of tranquillity, luxury, calmness and beauty. Every need is catered for and we just couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. Sadly we could only spend one night there but given the chance all of us will be back in the not so distant future. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. Love from Vicky and family x

It's the perfect blend between tradition, modern cuisine, amazing nature and lovely hosts! The views are spectacular, the food is beyond our expectation, I'm vegan and they served amazing dishes for me, all organic and natural! The hosts are extremely welcoming, the place is very cozy with a lot of personal space and I can't wait to be back there!

If you want to experience the authentic and old Bulgaria, this city is one of the most preserved. This remote little mountain village was established by Bulgarians fleeing from the Ottoman rule in the 17th centurey. So it is original and very old traditional Bulgarian village now also on the UNESCO list. In the middle of this you find wonderful Lavanda house. Beautiful restored small guesthouse. It's difficult to say what is best about Lavanda. The interior is immaculate, the view is spectacular and the surrounding area is beautiful, with a lot of opportunities for walks, bike rides etc. What makes it particularly memorable though are the hosts - Silvana and Boyko. It was a real joy to chat with them and try the amazing food they prepared, using local ingredients and with attention to detail. If you are looking for relaxation and a connection with nature, you cannot do better than Lavanda.

I spent 4 days with a group of friends, renting the whole space - we had the three rooms and enjoyed breakfast and dinner at Lavanda. E-mail and phone communication with our hosts was smooth and friendly, with amazing attention to detail as we organized the trip. The stay itself was just perfect and sets a standard of hospitality that will be very hard to match by anyone. I travel a lot all over the world and have never experienced anything like this anywhere in Bulgaria. From the moment we arrived and were served delightful banana bread with aromatic tea with herbs from the garden, to the very last step we took out of the door, we felt cared for, known, enjoyed and welcomed. Our hosts were friendly, kind, cooked heavenly food, and always knew the right wine to go with our meals. We hiked, danced, played, exercised, laughed, ate amazing local dishes, rested in aromatic clean and comfy rooms, and left truly recharged and connected with nature and our hearts. My husband and I stayed at Lavanda with good friends of ours who highly recommended the place to us. I can’t rate Lavanda highly enough and the lovely family running it! We had the best break for a long time, beautiful spot, fantastic house and two great hosts who looked after us in an amazing way. Thank you Silvana and Boyko for accommodating us and we can’t wait to visit Kovachevitza again!

Boyko & Silvana are extraordinary hosts at beautiful Lavanda. The food is based on local and fresh ingredients and is delicious. The location and surroundings are amazing, and the house, ground and rooms are made with great attention to detail. We enjoyed hiking and mountainbiking in the mountains, and had good help and guidance from the hosts. We recommend it highly.
