Lovely hotel. A bit outdated though. The bedding did not work well together and the warm fleece sheet kept slipping off the bed. The heater seemed to be manual so we had to get up and switch it on or off instead of using a thermostat. The breakast had no decaf options for this pregnant lady. Other than those few...

Spent the night in Lakefield with my wife, grand daughter and son in law. They gave us adjoining rooms when we requested it at checked in. This made for great fun at night. The rooms were large, clean and beds were great. Their was a fridge in each room.

Friendly greeting in Lakefield. The snag was that the hotel was full of young hockey players with nothing to do except hang out in the halls and practice their sport in the corridors. Indeed adult conversation in the elevator was about when the open season was for hockey players. The Lakefield carnival on Sunday in the snow and biting wind...

The Inn is a very nice destination. Not too big, nicely decorated, well maintained. Night time security was important to them as well which is reassuring. Breakfast was good. Everything was fresh. I'm fussy about coffee and it was good. Nice little town. Worth a visit!

How can this only be a 2 star hotel? My husband and I stayed there with our 2 children this past weekend and were impressed. The rooms were adorable with the quilts on the beds, the staff was incredibly friendly and there was a delicious breakfast! The most important part was that it was clean! We loved our stay here.

Visited the Village Inn for a weekend fishing tournament; I had never visited lakefield before and was pleasantly surprised.. Staff were very accommodating with the boat and although they did not have a big parking lot and room for a boat, we were able to park in the main laneway of the hotel and plug in the boat. ( an...

Very professional welcoming staff the whole time we were there. Rooms were quiet and clean and right in the heart of easy access to everything needed. We were given directions to where we needed to go as well as local information that may interest us.

This is a pleasant enough inn smack in downtown Lakefield. Location is fine however the hotel must get rid of those stained filthy carpets in the rooms. None of us were willing to take off our shoes. They are that bad! They've tried to spruce up the rooms by painting and decorating and it's got a quaint appeal now. The...

My 2 sisters and I stayed here for a night. The hotel is easily accessible and has great rooms which are quite large and very clean. The beds had great quilts on them and I inquired as to where they were from. The front desk lady gladly gave me the info and directions to the place. We enjoyed our dinner...
