Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am Very disappointed with the room and hotel overall. I arrived, only to be greared by two gentlemen smoking drugs at the front door of the hotel! The room smells of bleach which is not very pleasant. Dogs staying in rooms at the hotel which shocked me, the corridor stank of dog. Constant barking all night! I had booked a double room but have been put in a family room with two single beds, I know I had to amend my booking becuase of a date mix up, But the extra I paid to swap, is definatly not worth it, I'd expect a like for like or to be offered anothrt hotel nearby. Seems the hotel was full of council type families? With kids running riot! I've like made a formal complaint about my stay but clearly you dont respond to emails within your own allotted times, so now to seek legal advice and request a full refund, A very unhappy customer

Very clean and basic hotel suitable for short stays. Staff very friendly helpful and efficient, twenty four hour garage caused some disturbance at night if windows were slightly open, excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner very short walk away.

Room was clean, quiet, bed comfortable, and good shower/bath. Plenty of parking. Pub across road for good food, and two others in Orleton 5 minutes drive away. Starbucks, Greggs and Asda on site also. Ideal location for visiting nearby National Trust houses at Croft Castle and Berrington Hall. Very good value.

Ideal place to stop over. Garage opposite with Greg's inside. Even better you have Salwey in walking distance to grab hot food and a pint. Travelodge was clean and tidy despite it having old furniture. Staff are very friendly, lively shootout to the supervisor and cilla. Very very welcoming

A normal travel lodge hotel spoilt by others, we arrived to other guests outside the hotel drinking substances and smoking substances. Their dog not on lead outside and also inside the hotel. Language not great also. Nights sleep disturbed by coming and goings to go and smoke and drink outside - sometimes just outside the main entrance.

A great stay. Staff really friendly and helpful. Good to know there was someone on duty all night incase of emergency. It was nice to be greeted by a human being rather than just a machine. Room very clean and spacious and bed very comfy

The staff helped me sort out an additional night and advised about getting a refund if I needed to cancel it. In fact I did not need the extra night so the advice was much appreciated. They welcomed my dog and advised on where were good places to visit locally.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Warm, comfortable, clean, convenient and inexpensive. Ideal place for an overnight stop on a road trip. There is a Starbucks and an EG Asda to go fuel station adjacent, and the Salwey Arms pub/ bistro across the road.
