I really liked Ceann Sibeal because it's historic and quaint. I sat at the bar and had lunch -- Irish beef (roast beef) with mounds of mashed potatoes and a turnip/carrot mix. It was great, as was the Guinness. On my next trip I'll probably stay at the hotel because I love the scenery -- the village is across the... More

Room 15. A big room with views over the hills. There is a double bed and a single . Tea and coffee facilities. Hairdryer in the drawer. En-Suite. Well what a laugh we had. We stayed here last night and were disappointed. I booked a double room but got a family room which would be perfect for a family but too big and bare for a couple. It was spotlessly clean though so no complaints on that score. The tv screen is too small for the size of the room. It was very cold... More

Great hotel for the price. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning also gave a nice variety, particularly for a rural hotel. Free car parking, was an extra bonus too. Would stay here again.

We had the pleasure of staying here for one night. The rooms were large and very comfortable with a nice sized bathroom. The hotel itself is in an older building yet inside everything was well kept, bright and comfortable. The hotel has both a pub and a restaurant; we had a basic but decent breakfast there one morning. A great little hotel with friendly, helpful staff located in the village with a playground across the road if you've the kids. Breakfast is excellent and a perfect start to a day of exploring the nearby beaches, mountains and slea head drive.

We stayed in the small Gaeltacht village of Ballyferriter in the Ceann Sibeal Hotel. The rooms are clean, large and the beds are spotless. The hotel has a warm cosy friendly feel and ALL the staff are superb. The breakfast ( included in the stay) is EXCELLENT, the perfect start to all the activity you'll endeavour to do in Kerry.... My partner, son and I stopped here for lunch - our wonderful tour chauffer, Paul Gregan of Gregan Chauffer - brought us to the restaurant.
