Very good hotel and when you have a whole appartment for yourself it is big as well! I found all I needed and more. The rooms were clean, the shower nice and warm and the wifi was fast. People were friendly... nothing wrong with it! Go and try!

I can't say enough about our stay here. We rented one of their apartments which is located in an adjacent building to the hotel. When we showed up they new exactly who we were and withing a minute we were walking to our apartment. The unit was clean and well furnished with everything one would need to feel at home... More

I've been in this hotel several times and it was always a pleasant stay. Very kind staff and clean rooms. Breakfast offers ham, cheese, bread and marmellades. If you are a scientist visiting the research zentrum in Julich this is probably the best (and only) option.

I went there for work and the hotel offers good rooms for a good price. The room was comfortable and the bed was good. The breakfast is copious and proposes a large choice. There are not so many hotel in Jülich. This one is a good choice!

'People only come to this town to visit the research centre' quoted the man on reception; Sunday nights are like looking for a party on the Marie Celeste. The hotel is nice enough with a friendly guy on reception who swiftly checks you in and guides you to your room. Rooms are large with nice bathroom and TV with Sky... More

It's on okay hotel with good staff and a nice breakfast. However, I think that the age of the building shows in the rather basic rooms. (That being said, the building is of some architectural interest.) Placed in the commercial streets of this little town, with a good beer restaurant on the ground floor.

The rooms are very small. The bathroom was small. The shower was an improvised retrofit with non functional shower doors. There was mold in the shower. No AC. No elevator to 3rd floor. Parking was 300 m away from hotel. Front desk is not manned during night. Front desk personnel is unbelievable slow. The only good thing was the breakfast,... More

We stayed here on a cycling holiday along the Rur. The hotel is centrally located and very welcoming. We had our three kids so they put us up in an amazing apartment down the street from the main hotel. Spotlessly clean throughout and wifi with enterainment gadgets (incl. SKY TV if that's what you need) in every bedroom. The breakfast... More

Small town, interesting thanks to the old fortifications going back to 17th century and a long history before (Juelich=Gulik), back to Roman times and of course the Research Institute of international fame. Not very alive though. I looked up relatives working at that Research Institute. Hotel is well placed in the central pedestrian area and has some old time character.... More

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment in a nearby building to the main one. It was huge, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the main building was very nice, real plates and eating utensils -- no plastic. The room had a washing machine, a drying rack and an iron and ironing board. What a luxury! All of... More
