Good location in the town. Hotel staff very polite and spoke great English. Free wifi throughout the hotel. Only breakfast was available in hotel so used nearby restaurant.

Rooms very basic, breakfast normal German fayre.

Church bells where out of action due to refurbishment... thankfully based on other folks reviews

This was my second stay at this independent hotel.  There is a warm welcome and friendly staff.  The rooms are clean, reasonably spacious and  comfortable although a double room consists of two single beds pushed together which isn't ideal.  Having said that, the beds themselves are very comfortable.  The hotel is ideally situated in the town centre, with an impressive choice of restaurants and bars virtually on the doorstep. Our room on the garden side had a balcony and was very quiet apart from the birdsong outside, which was nice to hear.  The church bells in the town are very loud and I expect you'd hear them from the rooms on the other side of the building.  Wifi is available free of charge, but the connection can be patchy. It worked well close to the bedroom door, but not reliably enough at the desk.

The large bathroom had  a very powerful shower over the bath which was lovely, it's a shame that the shampoo/body wash is provided in a pump dispenser on the wall that doesn't dispense very easily and doesn't contain a very good product.  I would recommend bringing your own.

We enjoyed the German style breakfast buffet  and the wide variety of breads to choose from.

Overall I recommend this hotel despite the minor niggles and we will definitely return in the future.

Our family of 6 people descended on this hotel for a two week family reunion. We have stayed here once before so had some idea of location and hotel amenities. My 92 year old mother had a single room and others had double rooms. Once we settled into our rooms on the Stadtgarten side with balconies, we realized there was no AC, so my sister went out to buy fans since the hotel did not have them although it was not really warm. We decided after the first night that we should move closer to my mother's room in order to keep an eye on her - the staff were very accommodating about a move which was directly across the hall. Our room was spacious (enough for 3 beds) and had all amenities needed. The bathtub shower was quite slippery, however, and I was glad my mother had a stand up shower stall - they might think about installing skid strips. The breakfast was wonderful with fresh rolls, meats, cheeses and hard cooked eggs each morning. The coffee came in lovely porcelain pitchers and cups with saucers, something my mother appreciated. The staff went out of their way to clean our rooms daily if we wanted and to accommodate our many requests from taxis to the airport, to mailing parcels home to the USA, to giving us good directions to restaurants and parking. We also received a coupon for each guest allowing us to ride the trains for no cost. This was really a good savings! The hotel is located directly in the town center so walking around and seeing the market place was easy. Parking in front is a bit tricky so walking to a car park is easier. The manager, Zika, was most helpful and pleasant as were the cleaning staff. We were all quite happy with our stay and will surely stay again!

What really matters? The staff.

Spent about 3 weeks in this hotel during a business trip.

Staff was AMAZING! Owner went OUT of his way EVERY time to help us. Location was pretty perfect (Church bells a bit loud because you are so close to the center of the village!)

With the opportunity to return to this little village, I made sure I stayed at this hotel.
Breakfast was perfect.
Beds were comfortable.
People were FRIENDLY and helpful...

Highly recommended for extended, or just short stays!

This is a small hotel but a very nice one, it is only B&B but there are plenty of places to eat as you are in the middle of the town. The hotel is very clean and the staff very pleasant, as the town of Radolfzell is on the banks of Lake Constance there are some lovely walks and some stunning scenery with views over the lake to Switzerland.

Clean, simple, friendly. Free WiFi. Four nights on business. The hotel is located in right in the centre of town and is convenient for all local restaurants and so on. Breakfast is decent if not the most expansive selection. Breads, cheese, meat, eggs, fruit, juices etc.

I had a hire car this time so parked in the public underground parking with (very convenient) direct access by lift to the hotel. Validating the parking ticket gives a discount, so I was only paying EUR2.20 to EUR2.60 for overnight parking.

First floor rooms from in the 101-108 (I think) range have a balcony overlooking the moat garden which is pleasant to sit and take in some fresh air on a warm evening.

Room Tip: Rooms away from Holltuerm-Passage don't get the noise from the church bells or market.

Stayed here for a night on a cycling tour. It's a basic hotel but well maintained, very clean and comfortable and so we can recommend it as such. Wifi only worked by the door of the room, but that was ok. Good shower, but limited toiletries so BYO other than shower gel. Breakfast in a cheerful room was fresh and tasty. Staff cheerful and helpful.

We stayed there as part of a biking tour of the lake.
We had a big room for 4 persons (2+2) but the room was right above a big popular bar that is operating until 1:00 in the night.
Since the temperature was more than 30 degrees we asked for ventilators ( as we had in similar hotel the same days) but they didn't have any.
Trying to get som a sleep with open windows and noisy bar was an impossible mission.
We asked to change the room but the hotel was fully booked.
Wi Fi service was not working, we asked to restart the router but the said they can't do it now , maybe later....they didn't .
Breakfast was poor.
All in all its not a 3 stars hotel.

Very nice and helpful staff. You can park underground in Hollturm Parking and take the elevator up to hotel. The parking you have to pay (only cash), but if you go with the ticket on reception, you get a 25% discount.
Located in city center, you can walk to any shop or visit the touristic objectives, even the main train station is at 5 min walk.So super central location. WiFi ok, breakfast continental style with coffee and warm/cold drinks. Very quiet room and location. Has no air-conditioning which can be an issue during hot days, it has a fan with remote. Overall is great as long as there is no high temperature outside.

It was a good business week in Radolfzell. It was good to arrive to this Hotel after a long workday. I enjoyed that it was very close to everything. My room was clean and good-sized. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. There were wide range of breads, hams and cheese.I could ate different things every morning. Great coffee for take away as well.
