Birdworld is one of the largest bird parks in the country; with 26 acres of landscaped park and gardens, home to over 1000 birds and 180 species from around the world! Learn all about Birdworld’s commitment to national and international bird conservation in the company of threatened and endangered species from all around the world. Birdworld is home to several interactive exhibits, including the Jenny Wren Farm, Penguin Beach, Outback Landing and Seashore Walk where you can enjoy birds flying around you in wide open spaces. Grab a bite to eat in one of our Kiosks or visit The Palm Café, now serving Costa Coffee and a range of snacks and sandwiches. There's also lots of space for picnics!

Farnham Park is a remarkable survival of a medieval deer park with a landscape of rolling grassland and veteran trees and a boundary that has remained unchanged for over 600 years. Its 320 acres (130 hectares)has retained much of its 17th Parkland character and has the feel of open countryside. It offers Avenues, hidden dells, hills, valleys, ponds and streams. It's elevated position provides panoramic views of Farnham and surrounding countryside. Farnham Park is a Site of Nature Conservation Importance (SNCI), an area of Historic Landscape Value (AHLV) a Grade 2 listed Historic Park and Garden (English Heritage designation), a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and has received Green Flag status for the second year running. Park facilities The Park is managed for wildlife and recreation and provides: a large adventure playground a toddlers play area a shared used path (suitable for both pedestrians and cyclists) limited access for wheelchairs cafe toilets a hole golf course cricket club two football pitches. The southern end of the Park lies about 100m north of Castle Street, an easy walk from the centre of town. Farnham is well served by buses and trains, though if you are driving, the main car park is situated off Folly Hill (A 287) between Farnham and Upper Hale.

The Rural Life Living Museum tells the story of the countryside, its unique collection of re-located historic buildings allow visitors to explore inside, complemented by one of the largest collections of agricultural implements and objects from everyday life. We take you on a journey of nostalgia and discovery suitable for all the family. The museum produces and hosts a range of special events, from the annual Village Fete and Steam at Work through to Weyfest. Our volunteers demonstrate craft skills, working machinery and bring to life some special characters through live interpretation on various days throughout the year. The Old Kiln Light Railway regularly operates diesel and steam locomotive passenger rides from February to October. Trains run on the weekends and Wednesdays during Surrey school holidays. The range of beautiful pods are also available to order with free UK delivery and installation. We are open for late night shopping on Thursday and Friday evenings until 7pm.
