The caves inspired writers like Agatha Christie, Beatrix Potter and more recently folk-horror writer Adam Nevill. Perfect on any day all ,year. Onine pre-booking highly recommended to visit these popular Devon caves.

    Wow, wow and triple wow.
From the minute Abby our tour guide first spoke to us the caves came alive. Her passion, enthusiasm and love for the caves shines through. Our private group of 20 absolutely loved every minute. We then had a private party in the cafe area celebrating a 50th birthday. Sandwiches packed with delicious fillings, cakes a plenty. Absolutely magical 2.5 hrs spent there. Thoroughly recommend for any age group (ours ranged from 11 to 90).
Thank you for the review! It was our pleasure to host your birthday party. We'll be sure to pass your comments onto Abby and the café team.

    A hidden gem in Torquay!
What an excellent and informative tour. James, our funny and engaging tour guide kept us entertained throughout. Our 7 and 10 year olds were absolutely enthralled with the tales of cave bears and tooth fairies. The cafe is lovely and serves delicious pizzas, paninis and cream teas. A real gem with a great gift shop to boot. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
Thank you so much for your 5 star review! We're glad you enjoyed your visit.

Great way to spend a few hours.
We’ve been to Torquay a couple of times, but never made it to Kent’s Caverns before. A brilliant experience made even better by Amy, our tour guide. The caverns themselves are wondrous but to have them brought to life with Amy’s narrative, well, we loved it. It’s our new favourite place to visit.
Thank you Paula for your lovely review, we're really glad you enjoyed your time here!

    Excellent and fun!
Really enjoyed our trip to Kent's Cavern. James, was our tour guide and he was the Devonshire cream on top of our scone, he made the trip! It's not exactly a long tour but was the perfect length to keep a four year old interested and entertained. Even the Devon cream tea we had in their little café was good for the price, two warm scones with the choice or fruit, plain or savoury and a tea or coffee to go with them. Compared to one I had in Weymouth a few days later it wasn't too disappoint and while people have complained that it's really expensive for what it is, I would have to disagree!
Thank you for your review. James will love your cream tea analogy! We hope to see you again soon.

    Best guided tour
Our wonderful guide ‘Amy’, who seems live and breathe all things Kent’s Caverns, made our tour fun, lively and informative. Her depth of knowledge and enthusiasm was infectious. There’s very little you can do for £15 theses days, and this was one of the best.
Thank you for your lovely review! We'll be sure to pass your comments over to Amy.

Excellent tour. A very special place!
Abbi our tour guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun. She told us lots of interesting facts and stories, really bringing the caves to life. The tea room, toilets and activities were all well presented and up to date. The hot chocolate was particularly good! I would recommend for ages 8 and up, as the info would probably go over small childrens' heads and the darkness might be scary.
Thank you Rebecca for your 5 star review! We'll be sure to pass your comments over to Abbi!

    Great Visit!!
What a great little place to visit!! Family of 4, 2 adults plus 13yo & 14yo stumbled on this place whilst staying near Torquay. Cost approximately £55 and spent about 90-120 minutes there. Parked in the road to avoid paying the on-site car parking fee and was then treated to a 45minute guided tour of the caves by 'Joe'. He was very informative, very clear in how he spoke and was able to answer all the questions posed to him. Daughter and wife panicked a little for the 20 second period that he put us in pitch blackness but it was fine!! After the caves there is a woodland trail which was nice but could clearly do with some TLC. Some good Halloween things going on too which made it even better. Maybe a little overpriced for how long you are there for, but when you take in the history of the caves, I didn't begrudge paying it at all. Credit to all those who work there and run it but improve the trail, and it would have been 5/5 easily.
Thank you for your positive review, we're glad you enjoyed your visit with us. We're always looking to invest. Hopefully we'll have something special to show with our Woodland Trail in the coming season...

Kent Cavern is a must to visit
Easy to book. Staff friendly. Simon our guide made it very enjoyable and I have learnt a lot. Not rushed at all. Has a cafe and shop also an exhibition area. Car parking is excellent £3 for 4hrs bargain. Didn't do the outside trail as on the way home from our break away but look forward to going again.
Thank you Judith for your 5 star review! We're glad you enjoyed your visit.
