    A great FREE afternoon
A great FREE afternoon! The musueum is 5 floors and has a real mix of everything including Egyptians, dinosaurs, space and even an Aquarium.. just to name a few. The hands on element was particularly engaging for children and enabled them to explore with the expert advice of staff in the museum. The restaurant was quite reasonably priced and the scouse was particularly delicious!

    An Enjoyable and interesting museum!
Wonderful museum we Had a great visit! I actually gone with my school! There are five wonderful floors to see. We had about 3 hours there. We looked at the ancient Egyptians and dinosaurs and the forest! The mummies were very interesting and a bit creepy to be honest! My favourite part was the Egyptians and forest! A big thank you to all the teachers that took us! I definitely recommend it! And a big big thank you the the people at Liverpool world museum! I hope you enjoy your visit!

    An Amazing Museum
We are a class of Year 3 and 4 pupils from Ysgol yr Hafod, Johnstown in Wrexham and we visited as part of our 'Time Travel' topic. We thought that the museum was fun, excellent, fascinating and enjoyable. It was very busy and we had a brilliant day. It is free to get in and there are five different floors to visit. There is an elevator that fits 8 people, although we all walked up the steps (which some of us didn't like)! We went to the floor of Ancient Egypt and most of us went to see the mummies. It was a bit spooky but very interesting. We also visited the dinosaurs which was really good and we all enjoyed looking at the fossils. We all agreed that there were very good exhibits. It has a lovely picnic room where we had our lunch, although some of us thought that the benches were a bit uncomfortable! We're sure that everybody who has been there has had an amazing time and we would definitely recommend it!

    Interesting and fun experience
We saw that the museum had a few free exhibits so we thought we would try it out as we had an hour or so free to kill, and I’m glad we went. The ground floor has a lovely cafe but we didn’t have anything there, the first floor and a great aquarium with a good selection of fish and other crustaceans. The second floor has an insect room which has live insects on display, the third floor has an exhibit on Egypt and has a lot of interesting artefacts and also real Mummies (with human remains visible). It was a very fun experience and would highly recommend the free exhibits!

    Good museum.
The World Museum was very well laid out, light, airy and spotlessly clean. It has quite a few categories but some of those categories didn't have a great many exhibits. Nonetheless, very good way to spend two hours in Liverpool. The museum is free to enter.

    Can’t believe it’s free entry!
Fab museum, lots to see, can’t believe it’s free entry! Lots of different levels with different things to see, interesting displays. Staff were friendly and helpful. The locker system is really good as the weather was bad and we could leave wet coats and bags locked away safely. Nice, reasonably priced cafe. Overall would definitely recommend a visit here!

    Wonderful stuff to explore
Been here first time but glad I made it. now, it's a great museum. There's so much to look at and brilliant place to take kids with you or made a family tour because there's a lot for kids. Keep them busy for a couple of hours. I like the aquarium area, butterflies, Egyptian mummy section and many more. BTW just one lift for big massive building and couple of floors not enough. Stair case was full busy. It's free entry then why not enjoy. Superb location just in front of train station.

Brilliant exhibition but shop prices were extortionate
Frequently visit the World Museum but on this occasion we visited specifially to see the Bee Exhibition, which was excellent. It was interesting, plenty of information but in bitesize pieces and easy to take in. Wonderful photography and imagery and diversity of presentation methods, kept the attention levels high. A few niggles however - the young lady on the desk when we initally approached with our tickets was rather officious and came across as a "jobsworth" unfortunately - not something we normally see at the museum; the total dark in some areas of the exhibition were actually quite dangerous in 2 or 3 places; lastly the prices in the exhibition shop were just extortionate - I would love to have bought a few souvenirs but the prices were just way too expensive for us (and if not rich, we do have disposable income), it actually left our overall experience on a down note, as we were disappointed that we hadn't been able to buy anything and spolied our overall enjoyment somewhat.
