- Hellywo41 contributionsManual wheelchair tour The whole museum is accessible. Lifts exclusively reserved for people with reduced mobility and accompanying persons are hidden on all floors. The elevators are not visible during the visit. A person has been appointed to look after us throughout our visit. This person did not stay with us but was our point of contact throughout our presence there. The museum is spread over several floors. Suitable toilets are present on almost every floor of what we have seen. The museum guide brought us to all floors as the tour progressed. She left us alone at each step so that we could enjoy as much time as we wanted with the wax statues. The museum is very well done, with many wax statues that are almost always staged. We were pleasantly surprised because despite the world, the spaces are airy and, with a few exceptions, it is really possible to move around the elements without too much embarrassment. At the end of each floor, there is a small red button to press to inform the guide that we had completed the tour. He joined us each time on the spot in order to head to an elevator and the other floors to visit. In the Marvel part, one has a grand staircase to climb half a floor. There is a lift platform rather than an elevator. The principle is always the same: press the red button and the guide sets up the platform to climb with the chair. A 4D show is planned in the Marvel part always. It is possible to either stay in the wheelchair or make a transfer to a cinema seat. Be careful that the seats are tilted rearward for transfer. The end of the tour ends with an emergency exit door. However, it is also possible to go to the souvenir shop on request. We made the visit in about an hour and a half (including Marvel show), taking our time but without taking a photo. The time can be greatly extended if you consider taking photos or looking in detail at all the animations offered in the stagings. In short, we found the tour to be nice, well thought out, accessible and we recommend it.Hello! It is always a pleasure to receive such a glowing review of our attraction, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. - Clauz79435 contributionsWe returned to Madame Tussauds ten years after the first visit and, although many statues remained the same, we found renovated environments and new attractions, some of which were very beautiful, such as the "dark ride" on the little trains. Characters reproduced very well as always, with some that are almost scary due to how realistic they are! In general it is certainly a nice place to visit for adults and children, even if perhaps the ticket price remains a little high compared to what is offered (it costs practically the same as an entrance to Gardaland or similar).Hello, It is always a pleasure to receive such a glowing review of our attraction, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are sorry that you didn't think the value for money of our tickets was quite as good as it could've been. We are proud of our unique figures, and we do try to offer affordable ways to experience them. We will pass this feedback on to our team for you. We are however delighted to read that you had a truly fabulous experience at our world-famous attraction! - Amelie TOslo, Norway9 contributionsBook a day ahead, you will save money! About the tour itself, unfortunately it was very crowded and a lot of loud music throughout the tour. Since you buy a ticket for a timeslot, I was hoping it would limit the amount of people. It did not. The constant loud music did not help either. This created queues and chaos, I lost my family several time and we ended up brushing off the rest of the tour to get away. A pity since the museum itself is really worth it. Also, some people were not named and so we had no idea who they were. It was still worth going there, but be warned: it's loud and crowded.Hello, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave this review of our attraction. We are sorry to read that the crowds impacted your experience. While we do manage our capacity using our timeslot system, we appreciate there can sometimes be a lot of people visiting at the same time, especially on busy periods such as school holidays and weekends. We are also sorry that the attraction was louder than you expected, and that you did not know who all our stars were. While we do have name plaques for all our figures, we appreciate that some may not be as visible as others, and we will take this feedback onboard so that we can continue to improve in the future. We will pass on your thoughts to our team. We are delighted you still had a great time, as we would really love to have the chance to welcome you on our red carpet again in the future! - Ryan OWisconsin173 contributionsSuper cool! This place is huge! It just keeps going and going! I would highly recommend going but try figuring out a time where there isn’t a ton of people, especially if you want to take pictures with the figures! We went in the early afternoon and it was starting to get busy. Highly recommend. We got our tickets as part of a combo pack so you can save money that way!Hello! - Sandy_JSRJamshedpur, India2,334 contributionsVisited as part of our tour package. When we visited in the morning time, the Museum was moderately crowded. We entered the museum without any wait. The museum has sufficient collections of wax figures. While most of the figures are good to see, few figures may be needing more precision. The 4D film was a good experience. One needs to plan sufficient visit time to cover the museum. Overall, a good experience.Hello! Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave this review of our attraction! We are so glad that we had a good experience during your visit! It's great that you liked most of our figures and that you didn't have to wait too long to get into our fabulous After Party! We are also delighted that you loved our Marvel 4D film! We are however sorry to read that you were not happy with some of our figures. We will pass this on to our team so that we can continue to improve. We would love to welcome you on our red carpet again, so please come see us again soon! - AndréaneParis, France548 contributionsThe museum is very nice to make the statues are quite realistic and it is quite impressive. The only downside is that there were a lot of people and sometimes it was quite oppressive and difficult to get around. It’s good to do but the ticket price is still quite high. The seated attraction is really the most of the museum with obviously statues with the image of the royal family.Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review on Trip Advisor. We are delighted to hear you found our figures to be of high quality and lifelike. Our team puts a lot of effort to ensure all our figures look their best every day, so your kind words mean a lot to us. We are however sorry to hear the crowds affected your experience. - sophie maeLondon, United Kingdom29 contributionsWay too overhyped. Madam tussaud's is always jam packed with people every time i pass the que is unbelievable! Save your money and go somewhere else. You could meet the real people for less money than this.. I went with my mom about 5 years ago and then separately with my brother and grandparents 3 years ago and you can not move or breath because of how busy it is.Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review on Trip Advisor. - radhakrishnan2018Glasgow, United Kingdom40 contributionsThis place is supposed to be a must visit for any visitor to London, but was a great disappointment. The entrance is 45 GBP per person which itself is a waste of money. The displays are few and they have removed a number of historically important and famous persons. They have few Hollywood and Bollywood celebrities but nothing else. Only consolation was there was no waiting in the que to enter and there were very few visitors. I am sure the visitor number will go down further unless they improve exhibition and make the entrance fee reasonable especially in this hard times.Hello, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave this review of our attraction. We are glad to read that you did not have to wait to long to get into our After Party. We are however sorry to read that you were unhappy you did not see all the stars you were expecting and that you did not think our attraction was very good value for money. We currently have over 100 figures at our attraction, spread across 6 floors, as well as our Marvel 4D film, Chamber of Horrors, Spirit of London ride, and a number of interactive sets. We are sorry that this was not what you had expected. Our line-up of figures is constantly changing, and we welcome all feedback we can get on the changes that we make, as we seek to reflect the interests of our guests and the wider public. - JediGeekBikerDoncaster, United Kingdom174 contributionsWe booked this as we were in London and wanted to do a few things. Student beans saved us loads. We knew this was going to be good, but it was actually fantastic. The staff were all brilliant and the attractions were very good. The horror part was fantastic. Then we ended up in a 4d cinema, which we didn't know about, this was also fantastic. For basic 3d screening it was like spiderman was trying to poke my eye.. Lots of effects to create the 4d experience. I LOVED the star wars part.. Just WOW. Nearly every celeb looked exactly like the person it was meant to be. The eyes were so life like. I totally recommend you do this.Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this fabulous review of our attraction!
