Located along the Thames River, this iconic observation wheel offers unobstructed views from its glass pods. During the 30-minute ride, you'll be able to see London's well-known buildings like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and The Shard. On a clear day, you can see up to 25 miles from the top—where Windsor Castle is. Sunset views here are otherworldly, but nightfall views of the twinkling lights are great too. London Eye can be reached easily by taking the Tube to Waterloo station. You might want to buy fast-track passes online in advance to skip the queues. – Tripadvisor

    Such amazing views..
The line's quite long but it's worth the wait. I really recommend to buy the tickets online. Amazing view. You can see the landmarks of London clearly inside the capsule and there's also seats inside if you ever get tired of standing.
Sounds like you had a great time! We always love hearing about your flight through the heart of London. Come back and see us soon! Views this good never get old! Kind Regards, Sophia Customer Services Team The lastminute.com London Eye

    WORTH IT
The cue was efficient and we got there in no time. We were offered to have our photo taken then were promptly on our carriage. The views were brilliant. We saw Big Ben, the Shard, the BT Tower and Westminster Abby. There was plenty of space to move around and we were at the top before we knew it. When we were nearly finished there was a photo opportunity with a camera. Overall, great views, lots of fun and worth the price.
Thanks so much for the 5* review. Sounds like you really made the most of your trip to London, soaring through the heart of the city! Kind Regards, Sophia Customer Services Team The lastminute.com London Eye

    Check the weather
The problem with this is, it is much more $$$ to buy your ticket the same day, but it is totally not worth the money if the weather isn't clear. The day we went was very overcast and no sun so everything looked cloudy and hazy. So I'd say if you want the best experience pay the extra and make sure it's a clear day so your photos are good & you can see & enjoy more.

London Landmark for the 21st Century
Standing 135m tall with a diameter of 120m. London Eye was the Worlds Biggest Ferris Wheel. when constructed. The Containers that people ride in are ebclosed and Climate Controlled. We visited and rode in the Morning on a weekday to avoid crowds.

A whirlwind tour of London's skyline
It's a giant, fast-moving observation wheel, so we got a 360-degree perspective of London that changed with every second. We spotted tons of famous landmarks and even caught a glimpse of Buckingham Palace. If you want a breezy and unique way to check out the city, the London Eye is a great way to spend an afternoon.

    Third Ride
This was my third time traveling to London. Each time I have ridden on the London Eye, even for a Champaign flight (which was amazing). It's a great way to see the city from an aerial view. Each pod fits many people, so the boarding process is quick for the 30 min experience.

    Beautiful attraction
Beautiful views from the ferris wheel. The journey takes about 20 minutes and is very relaxing. For people who have vertigo like me, the sensation is one of minimal risk and zero anxiety, it is a safe, stable attraction and the movement is almost negligible. The luxury views. I recommend buying tickets online to avoid lines and if you have little time, the direct timed tickets, a little more expensive, but worth it.

We didn’t go on it - but will try next time
The weather was “cracking the flags” the London eye must be the most £ grossed tourist attraction in London , it’s not cheap for the 30 min ride and now with the fast track it’s a bit more expensive . The queues are long , and the view are stunning - you know you can book the Sky Garden “ walkie-talkie building and it’s free. My words are only a opinion , the London Eye will continue to reap in the money ……whatever my opinion is .

    Beautiful view of London
The panoramic view of the city of London from the Ferris wheel is beautiful, especially on a sunny day. The climb provides a unique perspective of the city's most iconic landmarks, such as Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. The London Eye turns very slowly and the cabins are spacious. I recommend booking tickets in advance on the official website to avoid queues and make the most of the experience.

London eye, to discover London from above
It is a trip around the world in glass capsules with a 360-degree view of the city of London, of the Thames area more specifically. It is worth it especially if the day is not cloudy. At its highest point, it is estimated that it is about 130 meters high, so you can see interesting views of some of the most emblematic sites of the metropolis (Thamesis River, Westmister Bridge, Westmister Palace). It has 32 capsules and the tour lasts about thirty minutes. For those who are just starting to get to know London, I recommend doing it in tandem with the famous red double-decker buses that also complement each other as a good way to discover the city.
We appreciate you taking the time to write this review. We’ll take your feedback on board so that next time you fly with us your experience will be even more amazing. Kind Regards, Sophia Customer Services Team The lastminute.com London Eye
