Absolutely loved this, despite being the designated driver and barely drinking any gin. The introductions to each tasting were interesting, humorous and knowledgeable. The cruise was comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. And the gin I did try was great. My friends got most of my share, and bought a bottle each at the end of the cruise. They must have liked it!

Great experience with Sam from Shakespeare Distiliary taking us through the history of gin and the tastings. It was really informative, well paced and included a G&T, two gin tastings and a rum tasting. We visited Judith's in town for our experience which took place on the top floor and up two flights of stairs. I went with my mum who struggles with her mobility and she managed but it wasn't the easiest. Great to learn about the history of the building and nice to have that connection to Shakespeare. Also learned some brilliant tips to make the perfect G&T. Well done to the team on the recent hat trick of awards and I love the eco credentials of the brand and so great to see this being recognised. A great experience that I would fully recommend to any gin lover or anyone who wants to discover gin.

What an amazing experience 🍸🥂 We had such a fabulous afternoon at the Gin school, it was fantastic from start to finish! The guys that run this place are very knowledgeable and great fun, we learnt so much about the history of Gin and the distillery process it was just fascinating. The school is such great value and you get so much included for your money, I'm glad that I decided not to drive because I'd have been very disappointed not being able to drink the beautiful Tom Collins that were included 😍 We definitely recommend this for Gin lovers and we would return.

The Gin Making Experience was a gift from my sisters and brother (my nephew replaced my brother) for my birthday. We had a fabulous afternoon learning how gin is made and then making our own gin, which we took home. It was great fun and I would recommend the Shakespeare Gin Distillery to anyone wanting a fun experience. Everyone was friendly and helped us to make the right decisions when choosing our botanicals to get the right mix. We are now waiting for our gin the mature, 2-3 weeks!!! Advice, make sure you go by taxi, you don't want to miss the copious amounts of gin you will be offered!!!!

Great little distillery tour, very informative and entertaining friendly staff. Nice way to spend a couple of hours on a wet and miserable November day. With the bonus of some outstanding Gin samples to try. Best to get a taxi to enjoy the full experience.😜

The gin experience is a great way to spend 3 hours if you’re a gin lover. Really interesting to visit the distillery and learn about craft gin and then to make your own recipe. Just make sure you’re not driving as lots of gin to taste too.

Went to the Shakespeare Distillery tour and gin making experience on the 10th November with my mother. We had a great afternoon learning about the history of gin and then producing our own gin in our copper still and taking home 70cl to enjoy. Had lots of fun and enjoyed three complimentary G&Ts as well as tasting some of their other spirits/flavours. We really enjoyed the experience and have recommended it to friends. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Just remember to book a taxi to get you home!! 🤪

We had a really great time at the Gin school - Same, Claire and Catherine were all really friendly and informative. We learnt a lot and definitely enjoyed making our own gins. We would definitely recommend the gin school experience to others.

We had a lovely afternoon (bought as a Virgin Experience Days gift). Very knowledgeable and entertaining presenters. Small distillery, rural setting, delicious gins! Glad I bought the cancellation insurance (£3), as I had to cancel my original booking due to illness. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

A great all round experience in a small group, 3-hour, gin distilling school. It was great fun and we came away with our personalised flavoured gin. A good balance of learning, sampling, and brewing/distilling.
