- Glenn KBrisbane, Australia71 contributionsIconic Tourist AttractionYes, the views were amazing. It is also quite beautiful, especially from the ground. The queues can be long. We paid for a tour (with Experience First - Eiffel Tower Elevator Tour) but due to some issues getting there (it was our first day in Paris), we were about 15 mins late. Fortunately, the tour guide, who had about 5 others as well waited for us which we really appreciated. We did the summit option which was really worth it as it wasn't too much more expensive. The Tower itself is iconic and something to tick off our bucket listVisited August 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 February 2024
- R MPeterborough, United Kingdom50 contributionsVery beautiful and iconic landmarkIt was packed on the mid Feb Saturday night booking I made. There was an hour's delay. Good thing is that if you're late an hour, you might still be admitted. It is absolutely stunning at night especially when it sparkles. The night birds eye panoramic view from Eiffel's summit and second floor is gorgeous, if you can find a moment to get away from the crowds and take a snapshot. Once you're done, walk around the streets around tge tower. You'll find plenty of beautiful photo opportunities with the Eiffel Tower too. Overall a great visit, but I wouldn't go again because I spent a lot of time waiting between lifts to go up to the summit.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 18 February 2024
- Cocobe dee BellSt. Augustine, Florida129 contributionsA must do, Buy The Champagne!Pre purchased tickets. Got here a bit early. Had a coffee and recycled the cup for 2 euros each. Wish we did that in the states. We visited on a Sunday evening in October. It was a little chilly, but not bad. The crowd was not terrible. We waited in a little bit of a line, got onto a fairly crowded elevator and made our way up at the top. We pre bought the two glasses of champagne. And stood to the side and savored the moment! Why not! Live a little! I even kept the two plastic glasses! It was crowded but I knew it was gonna be crowded. It was a little chilly, but that made sense that it would be chilly, but it wasn’t anything Arctic. Anticipate the weather. The view is spectacular but could be very cold. If you buy your tickets in advance and you get there when you’re supposed to get there I think it goes pretty easy. There is food and tasty beverages on the ground but you probably want to eat before you get here. There’s one set of restrooms, NOW that’s where your line from hell is. I wouldn’t wait until the last minute. Eiffel is what you make it, and damn we had great time! My vertigo had kicked in on the flight over and I have a fear of heights. I had a blast, closed my eyes and recorded the ascent, and much like the Roosevelt Tram (NYC) the ride was cheaper than therapy. Will do again with a better Camera and still get the champagne. Take it in.Sip it slowly, have the patience to enjoy.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 February 2024
- Rachael U2 contributionsLike Out of a movie. The Eiffel Tower from the ground at night is a must see. The light show on the hour is magical. We were supposed to be on a tour but it didn’t happen. I would highly recommend seeing it at night even if you don’t take a tour.Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 21 February 2024
- rosianefmachadoFlorianopolis, SC117 contributionsEiffel TowerI have no words to say how good this tour was. We climbed the tower, and to the summit. From there, you can see Paris in full. It's simply too much! It's worth going up and enjoying the view. The tower is actually "la dame de fer" as the French nicknamed it, i.e. the iron lady. This Gustave Eiffel was an engineering genius. And who would have thought that the tower, at first, would only be erected for a short time. Good thing they didn't dismantle it, right? They left it there for us to enjoy this work of engineering art!Visited February 2024Travelled with familyWritten 21 February 2024
- MKre84Düsseldorf, Germany650 contributionsYou have to do it at some point!!In Paris for the umpteenth time, but never been to the Eiffel Tower. That was going to change this time. On the second day after the end of the strike, I was expecting the worst in terms of the number of visitors. But no such thing: it was completely empty and you could move around the platforms in peace. It took less than 15 minutes from entering the first security check to reaching the top platform. I like the view from the Tour Montparnasse better, though. Very friendly staff in the champagne bar at the top.Visited February 2024Travelled soloWritten 26 February 2024
- Manu V22 contributionsStill there ! Despite the DIY...Climbing the Eiffel Tower is always a pleasure. Both to see the old lady and for the view of Paris (despite the gates everywhere). By reserving places online at least you don't have to queue. Pleasant staff (note!). Not a fan at all of the barrier put in place under the tower for years... we should be able to walk underneath as before and enjoy the site which belongs to us despite everything.. That being said, entry into the enclosure is free and you shouldn't hesitate to go there. Surprised by the general state of the monument: some parts are repainted, others are not... quite a bit of rust... lots of nets to protect work more or less in progress... perhaps made aware of the recent staff strikes about the poor condition of the tower. In the end, especially when going up the stairs, you get the impression of DIY and poor maintenance. It's a bit of a shame, especially if it ultimately damages the monument.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 3 March 2024
- Anil JJakarta, Indonesia330 contributionsMagically mesmerizing amd mysteriously mysticalThe Eiffel Tower is an epitome of infinity whichever way looked at from a glance; an iron tower, a vision of Art, an object of beauty and love, its sparkling colorful lighting magnates a sheer magical panoramic view from whichever angel from near or afar and with its unique spectacular shape with a sheer accent and a beacon of light atop the tower and with such a magical view of Paris from the summit. It was such a magical n mesmerizing visit to the Eiffel Tower with its splendid sight from the base of the Eiffel with its iron structure or the top of the tower and which has left an unforgettable cherished memory etched in my heart ❤️. - Anco MAberdeen, United Kingdom752 contributionsAmazingLast year we were able to go to the second floor, this year it was the top floor with a glass of champagne. Night and day difference. The second floor provides nice and different views, the views from the top floor are amazing. The champagne, included in the ticket, makes it an occasion.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 9 March 2024
- Luke RGloucestershire, United Kingdom103 contributionsAmazing views from an amazing TowerWhat an amazing place. Did the 2nd floor tour without the lift. Was a workout! 1st floor with the glass floor was a bit scary but the kids loved it! 2nd floor the views of Paris were amazing. Highly recommended and 27 euros for a family of 4 is a bargain.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 10 March 2024
