    Wow, spectacular!
Incredible experience, highly recommended. Went up at 9.30am and the queue for the step into the void box was only 15 mins. They pack you in on the journey up and down, but there’s no shareable of space when you get up there. It’s pricey at >250 euros for a family of 4 with older kids but it’s an amazing thing to do.

    Worth it!
Took the cable car to Aiguille du Midi in mid-April 2023. On the day I visited, the cable car was temporarily closed due to weather. The Mer de Glace train and Tramway du Mont-Blanc were both closed. There was heavy snow and the visibility was low. Still many visitors despite unfavorable weather conditions. The cable car was completely full. There is a café, restaurant and gift shop at the summit. Fantastic experience even with unfavorable weather conditions. Definitely worth it.
The entire Compagnie du Mont-Blanc team would like to thank you for sharing your experience. We hope to see you again on your next visit to Chamonix! Best regards,

Not to be missed - worth a day trip from outside Chamonix
We used a tour company and made a day trip from Geneva. I'm not sure the tour company was worth it. They did provide transportation to and from Chamonix, but other than that they dropped us at the attractions and provided tickets. Aiguille du Midi was breath taking. The cable car rides were wonderfully frightful for someone that is afraid of heights. The engineering of the observation buildings is amazing and the views are insane. because we were there as it was getting a bit warmer, we saw a few marmots at the first cable stop. I'm so glad we did this and that i pushed myself to do this despite my fear of heights. It was well worth it.

    Mont Blanc in a day
I had the opportunity to visit Mont Blanc as I was working nearby. Everything is so well organised, from booking a ticket and time slot on line to the organised queuing system on arrival. If you are lucky with the weather as I was, this is a "must do" trip. If you have been at lower altitudes before the trip, watch out for the effects of altitude as it can leave you a little breathless. The views from the top station at Aiguille De Midi are simply stunning.

    Great trip
They accommodated me even though I was 15 minutes late for my scheduled departure. The ride up, the building, and the opportunity to ride slowly to Italian side were amazing. I took a lot of great pictures. I definitely will do it again.

Ain't no mountain high enough ...
This mountain was high enough. What a delightful excursion this was. A thrilling gondola ride followed by followed by exploring the station at the top. Incredible views in every direction and educational info for the curious. We had drinks at the halfway station on the way down and there isn't a better deck anywhere. Thoroughly enjoyed this. We bought a 2 day pass and reserved our time for the gondola.

Amazing experience, but set off early if you can to do it all…
Wow! Expensive experience, but worth it. Be aware if you want to go on the cable cars into Italy it’s a good 1 hour round trip, (so book a morning slot if you can) they recommended 2-3 hours. We didn’t do this as not enough time. It was very busy when we went and so they give you a time a lot to return to Chamonix. We went up at 12.40pm and had to return at 2.50pm, but they were running behind,, so lots of waiting for available cable car, which was a bit frustrating as stuck inside building unable to see all the views for about 30 minutes. Probably left Aiguille du midi at about 3.20pm. Cafe and restaurant up there and the most fantastic views (obviously). We took jumpers and wore trousers, but it wasn’t too cold the day we went up. 60 min queue to go to the void (step into glass box above open space), there is a sign which tells you how long you have to wait. So we decided not to queue for an hour (inside). We did have lunch up there in the cafe which was good with lots of choice. Also going up in the summer was really good as you could see rock climbers and experienced hikers going up and down the Valley Blanche. I’ve been up here a few times now and it’s really developed with new parts and viewing points being added, would have liked to stay up here longer to explore the exhibition and watch the film too. But we basically ran out of time. If I was to go again I’d def want to do the cable cars to Italy (this costs extra making the whole experience about £300+ for one day! Which is a lot… so you need to plan your day and start early if possible (again all weather dependant) our first booking was cancelled due to high winds, so check website regularly and your emails. All in all an amazing ‘top of the world’ feeling, took out two children ages 12 and 14 and they were old enough to appreciate the experience too.
Hello, The entire Compagnie du Mont-Blanc team would like to thank you for sharing your experience ! To get to Italy is better to start the day early so that you have enough time to visit the Italian side. The waiting time for the return journey may be longer in the event of heavy traffic. This waiting time is specified on our website, depending on how busy the site is that day. We hope to see you again on your next visit to Chamonix! Best regards,

    Breathtaking view
The cable car ride was one unique experience for me. The view will be of indescribable beauty, so keep your camera close and snap away. It was very cold for me so please bring a jacket along.

Most spectacular ride you'll ever have in the Alps in the summer time.
This is a must do on your next summer vacation to the French Alps. The Alps will leave you speechless with their beauty. You can see everything from the top of the Aguille du Midi including hikers and climbers. The staff is very helpful and organized to make your trip go smoothly. We bought our tickets online and made a reservation for a Saturday morning and I am so glad we did.
