Bought as a birthday gift, we really didn't know quite what to expect. Happy to say we were very impressed and had a wonderful and informative afternoon. Our falconer was friendly and very passionate about his birds, all of which behaved impeccably. The allotted time for the experience is around 90 minutes but there was no rushing and all participants (2 couples) had plenty of time with each bird as it was brought out. Would highly recommend this experience and will likely go again at some point

Fabulous experience. Was excellent to be so close to 4 beautiful owls, watch their behaviour and learn so much about them, Liam shared so much of his expertise, with a lovely sense of humour. The icing on the cake was having so much contact time with the owls in a group of 4. The owls had all such different personalities (yes, we both had our favourite!) and were fabulous to experience.

I had an absolutely brilliant photography workshop session with Corinne taking care of all the advice and tips and making sure that all in our group were comfortable and welcome . Bird handling was carefully and expertly done by Liam and the bluebells in the forest was a perfect setting for simply magical results ! I would recommend this to anybody with an interest in photography and wildlife !

And the raptors were full of character and very impressive. From the very chatty Gary the Buzzard, Pablo the Harris' Hawk and Vespa the Steppe Eagle all flying to your hand (with gauntlet), to feeding 5 Black Kites on the wing using catapults! Liam, the co-owner, was very knowledgeable - always happy to answer questions. Plenty of time to take photos and videos. A very relaxing and informative afternoon - would highly recommend.

A spectacular day! I booked the family owl experience and it didn't disappoint. I booked for my 14y old daughter and took along a grumpy 16y old boy who was adamant he didn't want to participate, however he loved it as well. It was so informative and the guide (sorry I forgot ypur name) was amazing, really friendly and professional. I highly recommend you go along. Great for adults as well as teenagers. Nothing like getting up close and personal to really appreciate these majestic birds. 😍

I attended the Owls in Bluebells photography workshop led by Corinne Pardy Photography and it was an amazing experience. We were given some safety tips and what to do if one of the birds approached us. They had waterproof mats set out for our camera bags etc which was a great idea to keep the gear dry and clean. Corinne showed us all of the little pathways that we could use for the workshop and made sure everyone was aware of the bluebells and not to step on them. We met a total of 4 different owls and they were all absolutely gorgeous, healthy and happy birds. The handlers were knowledgeable, friendly and had a great passion for their work and the birds in their care. It was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and we had plenty of time to photograph each of the owls in different perches in the woods before attempting to capture each one flying which was a lot harder than expected. Corinne was always there to offer help with camera settings, panning technique and composition and I left with thousands of photos and more confidence in photographing birds. I will definitely go back again for another photography workshop with these lovely birds

Despite never really having interest in birds, we visited the centre to have a Bird of Prey experience- and LOVED it!!!! The staff are just so passionate and knowledgeable and it was so interesting meeting the different species. We loved it so much we went back a few days later for the Owl experience, which was equally brilliant! We thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone, its great value for money too 🤗

We did the 90 minute private session with Liam who was incredibly welcoming and friendly. His knowledge was amazing and could answer all of our questions. The birds were beautiful and we were able to see a great variety and have them land on our arms many time. I would 100% recommend this experiance and personally I think great value for money. This was a birthday gift from partner and what a wonderful gift it was! I would definitely recommend the experience asa gift and as something to do with partners, friends or family (and also on your own!). We were introduced to 4 different species of owl and got to fly the birds in turn. My favourite was the tiny White Faced owl (I think Northern White Faced) who was a little shy due to his tiny size and at one point sought reassurance in the nook of my inner elbow . We were regaled with so much information about each species and got t to know the personality of each bird (they are all individuals after all!). The staff was really friendly and the grounds were breathtaking. A fantastic experience!

I booked this experience for my partners birthday. He absolutely loved it and is already desperate to do it again. The staff were so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their jobs making the experience both exciting and educational. We felt it was great value for money as my partner was in a group with only two others so had lots of turns with the birds and was able to ask lots of questions. The landscape was beautiful and felt very secluded. We have already started looking at booking this again - we would definitely recommend this to anyone considering it!
