    Great experience
We went to Bettshanger for the Halloween trail and pumpkin picking. Both were great, far better than any others we've been to. The kids loved it. We will definitely be returning soon. We can't wait to come back in the summer for the great childrens park and activities on offer. The staff, especially Stuart, were so helpful. A really lovely experience.

The North Pole Christmas trail was magical and our special needs children absolutely loved every minute of the walk. Afterwards we were granted our Christmas wish and was lend The Glass Room that was beautifully decorated to held our Christmas get together with other SEN families. The whole team was understanding and very welcoming to our kids quirky ways. We loved the every second of the experience ❤️ 💜

Great Day out for Family & Friends
My first visit to Betteshanger, what a fantastic place. So nice to see a disused coal mine being used in such a positive way. Lots to do for everyone. From breakfast / lunch in the Lamp Room Restaurant to cycling, walking, archery, outside gym and children’s play areas. There are also electric bikes for hire. A few of the group visited the Kent Mining Museum next to the Lamp Room. They found it very interesting and the guide was a retired miner. As it was our first time here we just had a nice walk and a takeaway coffee. Next time we go we will probably try lunch in the Lamp Room, which looked lovely. In February during the week you don’t have to pay for parking which is a nice incentive to go during the week. We went at the weekend, which was very busy. It is obviously very popular.

    Parking a scam!
Visited last night to Music at the Museum commencing at 16.45 Website states 20 mins free parking and free parking after 16.30.. Lovely night ruined by the problems with parking. We arrived at 16.21 to find the ticket machine all taped up. Tried to find out this morning about the parking to find the parking company had charged us £5 for 9 minutes!

    Lovely park
We went with a 2 year old so didn't expect to be able to leave the playground which is exactly what happened but it was perfect. I can't wait to go back and actually see the park but it's a fun place to be. We also ate in the restaurent which was brilliant.

Be impressed/ sad the blue badge parking signs !!!!
Amazed at the size of this retired Coal mine. A park has developed from it, a good area to be in the open air, in a gently still or more difficult your choice. A large children play area along side a good cafe. The coal mine museum worth a look back at its history. Can not wait for the hotel/pod redevelopment 2024.

    Lovely day for all
Never been before and we had young and teenage plus older parents . We took little ones bike but teenagers bike too big for car . You can hire a bike which cost £10 to hire with helmet for hour . Plenty of toilets. There was a circus and a rabbit trail which you pay extra for . Some amazing walks with plenty of space . Stunning play area with seating / picnic style however way to few for the amount of visitors so if you need to sit take your own seats . There was an icecream van and a marquee selling takeaway drink with only one member of staff wholly inadequate as we gave up as such a long wait. There was an eatery but you can only eat and drink in with no takeaway sadly . Lost money . We took our own picnic so we were glad . Good car parking. Had an amazing day . Look forward to going again soon.

    Fantastic Easter Trail!
We visited yesterday to take part in the Easter Egg Trail. The kids absolutely loved it. It's great value for money at just £10 per child and they got loads of chocolate and even get to meet the Easter bunny. Thoughtfully decorated through out - highly recommend!
