    Great fun for children
I live in Canterbury and only visit when my family come to visit me. I have two nieces both under 10 years of age and they absolutely love visiting Dreamland. I think it's more enjoyable visiting when it's less crowded. I love the pinball machines and also the dogem cars. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

    Poor sound system
Saw 'purple hearts' and 'from the jam' sat 11th May. 4 star for p hearts and 5 for from the jam. Superb night but it was dragged down by the sound system. I used to do sound repro for a living. This indoor venue has a tin roof, a concrete floor and loads of other hard surfaces. We could hardly hear anything the vocalists were saying or singing. It could be sorted out for a few £ thousand. I won't say it spoilt the night, but we would go elsewhere to see the same bands next time.

Worth a visit if only to look at the nostalgia
We had a long weekend in Margate and enjoyed a visit to Dreamland that was a little like a timetravel throwback to a previous decade. Strolling round the outdoor attractions, several rides were closed (I heard because they were broken, or because it was raining a little), and part of it did look like a trip to Pripyat. But Most attractions/rides were open, and although I think more aimed at pre-teens, our family did actually enjoy a ride in the ghost train – not done one of those for a few years! Indoors there was a nice big arcade with many games, sadly no flat air-hockey tables (just the curved ones). There are several pieces and exhibits from many years ago. All in all I recommend you go to this and enjoy the nostalgia! (there's no entry fee.. you’re free to walk around.. you only pay if you choose to do something)

    Dreamland Events - Simple Minds
Went to see Simple Minds last night. Was in the VIP section where we had a great view of the stage and had access to a couple of bars. This section could do with more food outlets though as the Taco stand ruined my order by drowning it in sour cream. Simple Minds were amazing. The VIP section is good but could do with a few more seats for those who find standing for a long time difficult

    Great venue
I read the reviews on here before attending and was a little worried but I didn't need to be - the venue was well organised, staff friendly, food and drink reasonably priced, toilets clean (and a member of staff in the toilets picking up dropped paper etc), someone walking about the concert area litter picking, exiting easy etc. The sound quality was excellent and overall my husband and I felt really relaxed. A fabulous concert by Sam Ryder!

    Amazing customer service Brandon
My elderly parents went to see Jack savattori last night and had trouble showing their tickets on the app. They rang me and was assisted by an amazing helpful young man Brandon. His customer service was above and beyond and he was patient and extremely helpful. Thank you Brandon.

    Great Venue & Awesome Gig
Genuinely had a great time. There were a few stand out staff members who really helped (Joanne and Millie). The atmosphere was excellent and even the queue to get into a sold out show took 20 minutes. All in all, a great night out and would highly recommend.

    Services for disabled need improvement
We attended a concert, when we arrived as a disabled person with tickets to the Accessible viewing platform we were told to join the VIP lane to queue at the entrance. To our dismay many of us with crutches were made to suffer as only one person was working on the security checking so frustratingly in pain we watched as 100s of people were going straight through and lots of staff stood around chatting instead of coming over to help. Once a few of us in pain spoke up and complained they did help get the queue moving. The next issue is the fact we are not allowed to take our own comfortable camping chairs in so have to suffer the flimsy uncomfortable folding chairs that you worry could collapse at any moment. We were surprised none of the fairground rides were not working… surely a financial opportunity missed pre the gig start. As usual for any venue overpriced poor food and drink options

    Elbow Concert - 5* event
A visit to Dreamland for the (outside) Elbow concert in June 2024. What to say. This is a 5* venue, pleasant and friendly staff, queuing system fantastic (into the venue within 10 minutes), & venue was not over crowded. Elbow were absolutely fantastic (Seen several times before!). As a concert venue, Dreamland is a 5* experience (Inside or outside areas). We have seen other concerts in the inside area (ground floor Finley Quaye and 1st floor - From The Jam) and these are also 5* events and great venue. A must to do if in the area and a band are playing.

All rides cost the same.. even though some are small and short.
I visited Dreamland Margate with my partner and our almost two year old. I always visited Margate as a young lad due to family connections however Dreamland when i was younger was always closed down and derelict until it was recently rejuvenated and become an active fairground again. When we visited i immediately went to the token stand to get an understanding of prices however it is free entry to come inside. Each ride is 1 token which equates to £3 per token. Whilst that is reasonable for some of the rides (the bigger ones) i think to also make the smaller ones exactly the same price is ridiculous. I went into the “Hall of mirrors” which was literally just a room, probably not even a square foot, of mirrors and it cost me £6 for me and my 2 year old. How can something like this be the same price as a rollercoaster? For young kids who are above 0.8 in height you can buy a wristband which allows them to go onto a specific set of rides as many times as they want which is worth it, this was £12, and if the child is under 0.9 in height the adult can go on with them and not pay however as explained above, this is only for a select few, which is on the photo i attach to this review. This isn’t a theme park, more like a funfair and i have personally not been to a concert here so cannot comment. I prob would visit again however just be mindful of the cost of the tokens.
