Dear Yaeeshar, You have made my day! I am happy to know you have a great experience with us – wonderful! Thank you for your comprehensive review and you are correct regard to our resort location. We are surrounded by 10 million year old rainforest – and further away from the main touristic areas. There were many of the trees and fauna were protected and maintained from the very start, the wildlife had no reason to move. This side of the island is relatively un-populated and thus our water stays clean and clear, always stays quiet and undisturbed! If guests wish to have a tranquil, peaceful holiday close to nature …this is definitely a little paradise in Langkawi Island. I am happy to know that you enjoyed the stay with our award winning beach and you are absolutely correct! Datai Bay was recognized as the 9th best beach in the world by National Geographic and I do agree that it is one of the best beaches in Asia! Besides, if guests wish to have a tranquil, peaceful holiday close to nature …this is definitely a little paradise in Langkawi Island. I am grateful for your review towards our Coral Nursery and our new Marine Life Laboratory. We opened the Andaman Coral Nursery 2 years ago, as well as a rich marine home, and it also serves as a venue to grow baby corals to help populate the reef at our bay. In December 2, 2015, we have cooperated with Lafarge to deploy 52 Artificial Reef Module Systems in Datai Bay, and today we are committed to driving this plan forward and launch our Marine Life Laboratory. Our team runs a series of activities to help educate ourselves and our guests on this fragile eco-system. We do encourage guest to participate in these activities and it is also a nice area for coral snorkeling as you are able to see all the beautiful creatures.
