We visited the Empress on a warm day in August. It is an elegant old hotel and it was an experience. Tea was a must... But at $75 CAD per person it was tremendously overpriced. Our room was nice, but overlooking a busy street with a nightclub. Because there was no AC we had the…

Thank you Laurie for posting your review. I am sorry to read that your room was not as comfortable as you would have liked. Please always ask our Front Desk Agents if a room is possible and pending availability we are always happy to accommodate. Once our Phase Two renovations are complete we will have air conditioning in all of our guest rooms which will be wonderful for those warm summer evenings.
