El Cid is about 25 minutes south of Cancun. Normally I would travel another 1/2 hour to Carmen Del Playa. I read about the Mesoamerican barrier reef located 5 minutes by boat from shore, and thought that may be nice for snorkeling. Also, El Cid is an all inclusive resort. I…
