On a hill overlooking Geraldton, is a wonderful memorial to the sailors who lost their lives when HMAS Sydney went down during World War II. The wreck was not found until 2008, and since then this memorial has been erected. It is best to go with a tour guide in the morning where you will hear a lot of information.... More
