I went here with high expectations as it was no 2 rated on TripAdvisor. Tiny bit disappointed with the price of the food. Felt like the place had a chip on its shoulder. Maybe that was just me.

Hi - we are glad to see that you ranked us 4 stars and are sorry to hear that the price seemed high to you. We are one of the few restaurants in Rwanda to source as much locally and organically as we can - that contributes to our food cost as does the fact that we pay fair wages, employ an on-staff medical doctor, and invest constantly in training our employees. We don't have a single item on the menu that exceeds $20, and on the weekends our all-you-can-eat brunch with live cooking, smoothie, coffee and tea is a mere $15. We hope to welcome you back soon.
