Arrived to find the lodge is 3km away from main road up steep hills and a 35 dollar taxi ride from the town. You definitely need a car if you're staying here unless your happy to be confined to eating at the resort restaurant. We reserved a room with a balcony but when we…

Thanks for your comment. Just let you know that i have been living in the area for 12 years and the volcano can be clear any time, rainy or sunny day. that because there are more factors than the season that determine it. for Example wind, humidity and others. But there are more things to do here in the rain forest to enjoy your stay. Thank you again for the comment, very useful to help us improve our business.
