Hi Lynette, We were quiet surprised about your fairly negative comments. We tried to create a homely, comfortable atmosphere in Forest Cottage - which is timeless! This unit is marketed for guests who want privacy at a reasonable rate close to nature - a peacock on the porch regarded as an added bonus. Modern decor would be totally out of place in a log cabin. The Mattress was replaced 6 months ago. I am sure your expectations can be met at luxurious Guesthouses or Lodges in a much higher price range. Regards
