Visited the pier today and it’s well worth it. The only Grade I pier in the UK and has such a lovely feeling to it. Walking along there are plaques dedicated to people and their loved ones. Some lovely messages and also some famous ones to. What made it for us were the people who volunteer and work there. Their passion and wealth of knowledge shines through and really brought it all to life.

Beautiful pier
Amazing traditional pier. Lovely to have a seaside experience without candy floss and flashing lights! Staff are lovely and Jeff went out of his way to try and help me find a relatives brass plaque. Couldn’t recommend more highly - beautiful pier and very good value.
