We stayed at the GF Gran Costa Adeje for a week in October 2021. We were disappointed by the room, we were in room 12, we found it to be old fashioned and noisy, you could hear people in other rooms using the toilet! There isn't a separate shower cubical, it's an over bath type…

Dear Reg E, Thank you for sharing your review on TripAdvisor. We are sorry that you did not like the location of your room and that you found our room old fashioned, we understand that as part of running a successful hospitality business, sometimes significant renovations are made in an effort to modernize or simply remodel an establishment, we have been indeed working on some refurbishment in the Hotel as guests can appreciate, the entire pool area, including the pool bar, swimming pools, etc. The entire hall, with new furniture and many other areas. As part of our improvement plan that we have in order to maintain a Hotel of this standard, we will continue with our work plan as per requirements. We offer a wide range of products in our Pool Bar for All Inclusive guests, and we have a take away area as well, though proper lunch is always offered in the buffet restaurant La Finca. We regret that the choice was not of your liking. The a la carte restaurant has been closed due to covid yes, but we opened the pool bar for evening meals serving an a la carte menu as a different option to La Laja; it is an open air area , nice views over the ocean and the neighboor island of Gomera, no doubt a safer place for these complicated covid days. At the moment, we are working on a new concept for the pool bar which soon our guests will be able to enjoy. Even so, we shall reopen La Laja restaurant in a matter of a few weeks since pandemy cases have higly lowered down in Tenerife. On the other hand, we were pleased to know that you liked the hotel facilities such as the foyer, the pool area, solarium, and the entertainment. We would like to thank you for taking the necessary time to give us your feedback. All feedback from our various clientèle enables us to evaluate our services, facilities and activities on a continuous basis and ensure our guests have an exceptional experience with every visit.
