Okay so firstly i cant stress enough - this is a crazyyyyy windy hotel! Clearly it has kite surfing comps etc but i wish i had known the extent of it. We literally only attempted one walk on the beach, we had to give up and walk back, i nearly got blown away, the sand literally…

Greetings from Meliá Gorriones! First of all, I would like to thank you in name of the entire team for having chosen us, as well as, for sharing your experience with Trip Advisor community. Wind! This is one of our strengths, for Meliá Gorriones and for the most hotels on the island. The meaning of Fuerteventura in English is Strong Wind. We are sorry about you do not value this atmospheric phenomenon who give us the best weathers to hold the Windsurf and Kitesurf World Cup every year. We would like to offer you our sincere apologize for the Wi-Fi connections, but as we are in an almost virgin island we don’t have the best infrastructures to provide a good Wi-Fi connection. We offer bottles to bring to rooms, for our guest with all inclusive rate, sadly, as I can read in your feedback, you didn´t have this information you didn’t ask the staff in our 2 bars. Regarding to the sunbeds system, we do not allow the reservation with towels, and if the staff see that someone do it, immediately this towels is removing. And finally, about our location be secluded as hell is one of most valued items for guests. We are sorry you do not given us the opportunity to make your stay an unforguettable experience. Nevertheless I have taken good note about each recommendations that you gave us, to improve, if it is possible, the Meliá Gorriones Service. Your comments will be shared with the entire team.
