Now that's what we're talking about 🇨🇳 and if you think that you'll be rushed making it to all 19 of these, add our food experience pack onto your China Classic + Hong Kong itinerary and you'll get a dim sum tour of the city included as part and parcel of your trip. Yum.
These classic Cantonese small plates, usually enjoyed from morning to early afternoon, are more than just a meal in Hong Kong—they're part of daily life. The act of eating dim sum is called yum cha, which translates to “drink tea”; you’ll find locals doing plenty of that throughout their meal (to aid digestion). Not a bad idea when there’s so much to eat in so many different places: Dim sum is available in five-star hotels and neighborhood holes-in-the-wall.

Ever-changing, ferociously fast and overwhelmingly busy – there’s no doubt that China is a modern force to be reckoned with. But beneath all that development, the ghosts of its imperial past are still standing strong. And far from being dated, or dusty, China’s ancient sites are a thing of beauty. They may have been standing for hundreds, if not thousands, of years, but you’ll struggle not to be bowled over by these landmarks. Breathtaking would be an understatement. Now that’s pretty powerful s

Travelling can leave you with very little time to do anything other than just that: travel. After all, with weeks – if not months – of planning, a healthy amount of money spent and the endurance that it takes to get through the sitting marathon of a long-haul flight, you want to make it worth your while. So, chances are that you’ll be cramming in as many sites as humanly possible. But if the dawn of the healthy-lifestyle generation has taught us anything, it’s that our bodies are our temples. S

One week in Cape Town and I’ve returned with slightly chubbier cheeks and a penchant for oysters at sundown. This strikingly beautiful city is a haven for foodies – surrounded by mother nature’s gift of goodness – many ingredients are fresh from the African soil and sea, paired with world-class Western Cape wines and the spectacular ocean vistas and mountain backdrops just make everything taste that little bit better.
