Had the most delicious roast dinner today. Cannot recommend this beautiful country pub enough. Been coming here for years and always greeted with a very friendly welcome. Staff are so lovely and food is outstanding. My favourite Essex pub 👍👍👍

Visited today with friends and it was a lovely experience. The restaurant was busy with diners so had a nice atmosphere. The food and service were both excellent, best roast dinner we have had in a long time. We will most definitely be returning

Out to dinner with the over half and what a great experience. Fish and chips were great whilst my o/h had a ploughman's dinner. Good wine selection coupled with good service. See you again soon.

Worst pub lunch I’ve ever had. Literally a lump of dry tuna dumped into a dry baguette with no sauce salad sweet corn nothing. I don’t even think it was buttered! The tuna hadn’t even been broken up. The lack of effort here is unreal.
